No, they actually go down and,with a lot more sales! The closer it gets to Christmas the more you’ll save on decorations and cards, more than over half off in price! And, after Christmas you’ll be able to save more! The only way things are marked up high around Christmas time is when, a store is going out of business and, they mark things up and, then, they have like a big going out of business sale, they especially do this during the last few weeks. You think your getting a big huge savings when, your only buying these items for normal price, they will charge you twice the price if they are closing out at Christmas time!

My mom passed away 20 years ago this Thanksgiving. She was a wonderful loving mom, and loved to cook, decorate and host many holiday get togethers. Although Thanksgiving was a very difficult one for the first few years after she passed, I try to make it as special as possible now. I am also a fall decorator and love to keep my décor up from September through November 30. My mom always kept our Christmas decorations up till my birthday on January 25, so I do the same ! I keep my Christmas decorations up all December and January and then decorate a little for Valentine’s Day. Its Become a tradition and it brings me comfort that I’m just like my mom.❤

I'm team both lol. I used to never decorate for Christmas before Thanksgiving but during covid I put my Christmas stuff up early as a morale boost. It was fun to enjoy it a little longer. So now I leave the fall stuff on the dining table, but decorate outside and put up our smaller Christmas trees. We still do our big real tree after Thanksgiving though.

I was taking a walk this morning and saw many people had their Christmas lights up but I’m still holding on to my pumpkins a little longer! I am OK with craft stores putting out Christmas items early because those of us who craft need supplies early enough to make our creations in time for Christmas. But for goodness sakes, some stores have Christmas décor etc. out on Halloween.
Life passes us by so quickly without allowing retailers rushing us along ahead of schedule. I try to live each moment until it is completed and then move onto the next moment. This way we get to enjoy and cherish each holiday for all that it is. Thks for a great video ❤

When I open the fridge my cat knows it's either cheese or milk! She knows what the milk carton looks like, and knows the sound of the cheese wrapper opening.

My best friend of 40 yrs passed away on Christmas Day, 5 yrs ago!!! All of these meals looked delicious!!!!!❤❤. To me, there’s just not much in this world better than a bowl of tater soup with a hunk of cornbread ❤

I do decorate for Christmas in early November these days. Our daughter now hosts the thanksgiving dinner at her house so I get to enjoy my Christmas decorations for a little longer. I used to wait until after thanksgiving when I hosted the get together.
My husband is going in for a corneal transplant today after he lost his vision from a very severe infection, and I was thinking, what on earth should I make him for dinner tonight?? Sat down to get caught up on your videos before I take him in, and that southwest shepherds pie seems like the perfect thing to make!! Straight up comfort food! I'm team Give God thanks for all He provides. So I don't short Thanksgiving. Such a wonderful holiday! But the day after, I'm ready to play carols and deck the halls to get prepared for Christmas and get ready to thank God for sending His son! I thank Him every day. But Thanksgiving, Christmas and Resurrection week are our highest holy days.

I love everything, fall and Pumpkins. I mainly decorate for Halloween with a lot of pumpkins, so after Halloween, I can roll right into Fall. I wish we had an extra month of Fall before Christmas.
