In this video we walk through unboxing, loading an ink cartridge, and testing out the Platinum Preppy Fountain Pen for the very first time. This is a very beginner’s guide (well let’s say “stumble through”) using my first fountain pen for some quick sketching and the potential urban sketching.

There are videos to hack a preppy so u won't need expensive cartridges
Yeah, that idea has crossed my mind, I watched a couple where you can turn it into an eyedropper pen by filling up the pen body with ink! I wonder how messy that is to refill afterward? But I bet it would hold a bunch of ink though! They are so reasonably priced you could probably have a couple of different colored versions that would last a long time. Thanks 💕
@@jannahlyon You can use a syring to refill the cartridge itself.
@@jannahlyon Jet Pens has the converters and instructions on their website.
Platinum cartridges are fairly cheap. And you can refill them.
