Ive tried it... really hard to do.. bt she was not impressed.. instead she told me that 'its not ur age anymore more.. and am not ur g.frnd but ur wife'.. 🤣
Once you ride with 2 fingers on clutch and brake it's game changing... Even the acceleration on throttle becomes much more smoother, expecially when you have a 1290R 👍
@@RokBagorosStuntrider I have the 2019 SMCR and for some reason, it doesn’t like the two finger on the clutch method… two finger brake I always do! The clutch side seems to not engage properly unless it’s pulled all the way in. So the two finger won’t work and it kinda bums me out. It almost acts like the quickshifter is interfering.
2 Fingers on the clutch, tell that to my driving instructor back when i was getting my license 😂 He hated me doing that and said the exam guy would let me fail the exam if he saw it. I was so happy once i passed my license test that i could go back to 2 fingers again 😅 Same for the brakes!
In general they teach you to use the clutch and brake with two finger due to the fact that in case of a crash if you don't do it like that you can clamp your fingers between the levers and brake them. But I personally would say control over the bike and faster response time is more important then watching over the fingers. I also crashed milion of times and never clamped my fingers but it is true there is always 1% chance to do so. Is there any other reason why 4 fingers would be better then less?
@@RokBagorosStuntrider my teacher said 4 fingers gives you more control and better modulation but I just simply disagree with him. He was also the type of motorcycle driver that wears full neon yellow clothing and rode an ex-police bike 🤷♂️😂
Love those dismounting tips! Not sure I can pull them off though. The pivot-on-the-kickstand trick is Golden! This I will work on and perfect! Really well done video, keep them coming!
A caution on the first trick. In the long run it bends the side stand. So it’s not advisable unless you have a budget for changing the stand occasionally
Rob:) You are amazing. I really like the tips and tricks you teach us. I have not seen any better guidance than you on RUclips. I am not a professional rider but i am a good rider and would love to own a professional sports bike someday like R1 or Ninja or like your KTM 1290. I am doing my PhD in management and focusing on research. I would love to practice your tips someday soon in future and become a tricky rider. I have known you recently and have seen your videos and I have become your fan now, which otherwise I dont become...........!!!!!!! Someday I would be happy to meet you in person and practice with you..... Keep up the good work and help people learn good riding skills.... Thank you and Love from Kashmir......India......
For next riding tip I would like you to recommend making video on how to use headlight high low beams while riding and it's meaning, also on changing gears for Normal riding and top speed achieving
Im a girl and i had been watching almost every tutorial you had teach and i got some of your trick they came in handy for me so thank you ...but can you make a tutorial when going uphill offroad , i never got the guts to do it without feeling scared ....please 😊😊
When you put two fingers on the handlebar you cant pull the clutch all the way in as the fingers will get in the way. Wouldnt that mean you are not fully disengaging the engine from the transmission when shifting gears?
I've tried using only two fingers on the clutch, but even if I adjust the clutch cable and lever to the highest position (without risking slipping when released), I end up crushing the other two fingers with the lever when I apply the clutch enough to fully decouple the transmission (brand new bikes). On my CB500X I could only do it after I switched to short aftermarket levers. On my VStrom 650XT with the original levers, I can't. My pinky and ring fingers are not fat!
5th riding tip is PURE GOLD 😂 right?
ohh yehhh thats my boy
Hohoho
Mostly the last one😘😂

@@RokBagorosStuntrider I used 4 fingers on a shitty bike with shitty brakes. No need on my new KTM!
I just bought a 250cc zx25r and just got my license after a year of training. Love your video. Wish i can ride a naked like super duke in the future.
I use 2 fingers for the brakes but 4 fingers on the clutch, it gives a feeling of completely disengaging the clutch while changing gears.

Wrong. Depends of the lever design. I've always used two fingers on the clutch on every bike I've owned and never had a problem with gears.
Adjust your clutch
