The first part shows the recognition koopas and goombas deserve.
Not gonna lie, when i saw bowser leave to, my first thought was that at the end we'd see him and mario playing golf together on their vacations.

Honestly, an idea where Mario and Bowser go on vacation and other people have to fill in their spots sounds like it would make for a great spin off game. Lots of room for comedy and mess ups, especially with characters like Luigi or Bowser Jr. who may be the prime candidates for the replacement of them.

I feel that you could've added the Shovel knight intro(the one when he raises his shovel,it happens when he enters a level)when Toad grabbed the shovel and also when Toad came out of the box, you could've added the solid snake chase sequence music
The dynamic with the goomba and koopa here reminds me of Jeff and Hal from that old Mushroom Kingdom sprite series.

A fun video, and I love the mini calamity bits here and there. My only complaint is that you should cut down on the talking parts. Your animation tells the story just fine. You don't need to slow the pace to explain things. You' have great talent for animation, so have more confidence in that.
