I'm not an expert, but I would say to start by reading the guidelines (YT Rules) because many people don't read and start the wrong way and waste time. If you read the rules, you're already ahead of most. then just create quality videos, flashy thumbnails and good audio. keep the frequency and post at fixed times.
and one of the most important tips is not to embrace all games, if you are going to create a game channel, choose only one.
