Hi Frank, something you may like to know about Seu Jorge, He was homeless for seven straight years. Until he met Xande de Pilares, another singer from Brazil who let he sing in one of his concerts just to see whats this guy could do.
Seu Jorge made the OST to the movie Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou. In the OST he covers Bowie's Life on Mars' album (i don't know the name of the album, just the song) in portuguese. Those are pretty great covers and Bowie even complimented him because of that. I would recommend Rock'n Roll Suicide.

The "seu" in seu Jorge isn't a name, it is like a saying mister Jorge or sir Jorge (not quite but you get the dynamic).
Mister Jorge is closer.
but it's his stage name

It's normally used to call old man, like "old Billy", but use "Seu"
@@walfrisiomacedo1981 not to repeat what was already said, but his point is: his name is not "Seu", it is "Seu Jorge" like a compost name.
