Dan's comment at 9:57 - no truer words have ever been said.
I literally said "i hate that that worked" right before he did. Just another of those frustrating moments where Stephen insists his creation works despite all the signs suggesting it will not and should not and the game unjustly rewards him
In-frickin-deed
By looking at the thumbnail my thought was "there's another malory build".
And to my surprise, that build was all Stephen's
Stephen's built some goofy things in his time, too. Remember his "motorcycle"?
Reminded me of Mal’s boat.
Ah the episode where their (mainly Mal but Stephen as well) avoidance of fighting/collecting stuff catches up to them. Unlocked the final fairy but you won't be able to do anything with it really.
They spent the entire playthrough not hitting the A button to pick things up and to no one's surprise, they can't upgrade anything lol
Grinding to get all the upgrades was the longest part of the game. It took longer by far than getting all of the koroks. Although it really helps once at least one of the attack up and one armor I won't spoil are strong enough that you don't risk getting two-three shotted by silver enemies any more.
Getting the glide suit to the point where you get the set bonus is really good too.
@@Lytic1000 It is really long to do. And realistically I didn't get every single piece upgraded but if I avoided fights it was very few and far between since collecting a lot of stuff along the way helps towards getting your armor/stuff at a decent level. Thing that is baffling is they did work diligently towards armor upgrades (not sure all max but they did go fight stuff/kept tally).Zonaite they are out of as well.
@@Lytic1000 The one thing that puts me off this particular checkbox in both games boils down to a single item: the Star Fragments. Grinding an absurd amount of those for the special outfits just doesn't sound fun at all-even in TOTK where it was made a little easier.
@@ShycoWar Star fragment grinding actually wasn't that bad for me because there are some really good spots for it once you get the glide armor that I think Stephen and Mal have already opened up, like the sky islands over Akkala. They also (for once) adjusted the drop rate so you can get two star fragments in a single good night, which is a lot faster than it was in BotW.
The real issue I had with all the additional armor sets is that their appearance and set bonuses for a lot of them are practically identical. It would've been a better game eliminating a lot of them.
The fact that Stephen's "rollover protection" worked to any extent is... amazing.
Props to Nintendo and the TotK team for making such miracles possible lol
If only the zonai needed something to "stabilize" things
If only he didn't go overboard with random stuff sticking out at every angle for no reason
Jingle Bells, Mal fought well, Stephen found an egg.
The meatmobile had nine wheels, and the fairy came awake. Hey!
So since there is stuff under the important things.
What is under the great fairies?
I tried to look online but couldn't find anything
@@Zarouge yeah same, that is why i asked here in hope someone here knew the answer
There are 150 shrines and a shrine quest after you complete the last one
This cart looks like Mal’s “boat” she made for Stephen in the Gerudo Highlands.
The car Stephen created is diabolical
“How do I horse” Stephen has broken the English
I hate that the rollover protection worked... yet another example of "if it looks stupid but it works"
Gonna take inspiration from this episode and attack meat to my car before I go to work tomorrow.
2:11 (Specifically that's a stone that can be fused to a weapon to make it into an axe)
4:00 I still lament how Stephen is hostile to this Hyrule's NPCs for no real reason. Like it's not even specifically for chaos reasons. He just cares not for them
11:15 (Pyper ended up setting a tree on fire trying to impress a girl he liked)
21:03 (You can't pick up an object that has another object on top of it)
*[FAMILIAR FAIRY REPORT]*
11:27 Great Fairy Mija! Originally resided on the outskirts of Tarrey Town, not far from where [REDACTED] now is. Her name makes me think of quinceaneras.
I’m crying LMFAOO THE MEAT MOBILE
Yep it can not rollover. But it not safe from Stephen
If Stephen had Robotniks build budget..... 😅
I just joined in the last few episodes - is there a reason why they never ever sort any of their inventories/lists? Has that been explained?
they occasionally sort them, just not often haha
This seems to be a sitewide problem, but just thought I'd bring it up here cuz it's something that happened to this video: why are everyone's end slate links/thumbnails showing up way too early now? Like in this one, they'd appeared roughly around the 29:00 mark and were completely gone by the time the ending sequence actually started running. Is it supposed to be for people who like to use stingers at the end? If so, wouldn't it make more sense to make it a toggle rather than apply it to everyone? Idk man, I stopped making videos _long_ before those end slate things were even implemented, back when normal-ass annotations were still a thing. RUclips's tech decisions baffle me at the best of times.
I LOVE YOU STEPHEN

Flute person I think a woman
Pyper, the flute player, is a boy.
