Beautiful rendition of the L39! I have many flight's on mine and it just keeps getting better. I have purchased almost all of freewings EDF'S and i have to say with over 25 years of being in this hobby Freewing is the best in the foam EDF buisness hands down! And motion RC is a superb distributor. Hat's off to both Freewing and Motion RC!👍

That looks like a very nice flying model even though I wanted a 70 or 80mm F-22! Good job Stuart and I can't wait to watch Pilot Ryan rip with this release.
I maidened mine today and had a blast with it! This is also my first EDF and I can attest to it's trainer-like demeanor.

Motion RC has been progressing in leaps and bounds love the updated Freewing models and paint jobs you have trialed in the EU. Bought my last 2 models from your US warehouse (B24, F4 8S)
Would be nice if you get the chance to suggest a Heinkel He 111 scale model to Flightline. Don't know why one has not been created yet. Would be a brilliant twin scale model with about 1600 to 1800 mm Wing span.

You have never flown before? Best tip is to find your nearest RC flying field and go for a visit. Clubs like these have staff that can help train you when you join.

Is it easy to land at around 40% throttle with full flaps?
would probably be too much throttle. you can actually just power off and glide this one home like the Avanti. But it is best to always keep some power in landing on EDF's as most won't do what this can do

Stop calling spring-compression suspension "oleo" - as long as they are non-hydraulic (or even non-pneumatic), they are at best "simulated oleo".
Sounds like how we used to all say stop calling multi-rotors drones. It's terminology we sort of all just use now-a-days.
To be fair, the front gear is an oleo ;)
All multi-rotors qualify as drones aka unmanned aerial vehicles, but not all drones are multi-rotors. A widespread mistake/misconception does not make it correct, and is misleading, esp when there are actual oleo mechanisms in use in larger models.
Think "football" in America vs football in the rest of the world.

There are so many paint schemes for the L-39 and MotionRC chose this one? This is my least favorite paint. Hope in the future there will be a grey primer version.

A bit over priced but nice model..
I get thrown in jail if we fly that close to any airport. It will probably get worse here in the USA soon though.
Hoorfdorpp club has a long standing agreement with the airport and long may it continue.
