Thanks Dion! I'm 65 & the first song I learned the words to was the "Wanderer" somehow it gave me an attitude to go on. I remember listening in the fall of 1961 to Dion's music on KNUZ in Houston. Dion was supposed to have been a passenger on the little airplane with Buddy Holly and other musicians who were killed in that plane crash. Instead, he had decided to go by car. That helped to set him thinking about what really mattered. In the 1980s Dion came up to me and introduced himself after a Sunday morning service at North Dade Church of God in Miami. His daughter was studying music at our church college, Warner Southern, in Lake Wales. Thanks for sharing this.
Thank you Dion for your Gospel records. My wife and I became Christians in 1986 and someone introduced me to Dions Christian music. It made such a difference in my life, and to this day, I still go back to it when I need to get back to my first love for Jesus!

I am not from a Italian background although most of my friends from church are . My background is Irish . But , every week we sing " I have decided to follow Jesus" At Sacred Heart church. Thank be to God for your testimony Dion . May you be forever blessed . There are so many rock musicians coming to Christ what ever way they express their faith . It can honestly be said that the Devil does not have all the good music . They are not preaching in the pulpit . They are preaching to the Mosh pit. And it is working .

The belmonts themselves literally had a problem with his addiction because he would mess up the flow of things. I believe that is one of the reasons they split besides the fact that they wanted to do different genres. Drugs made Dion unreliable. How did you even come to such a weird accusation? Thats so sad to hate on a man and claim hes a liar when you have no idea.
