For sure! You'd think the top of the line model they would have *more than just one option* for paint color! I am trying to decide between an RT and F3, but I'd never buy the Sea to Sky just because of the color.
It's not the comfort seat. It's a memory foam seat specific to the sea to sky. No other spyder gets this seat. Confirming the options and standard stuff I am waiting on the floorboards lights to come in. I have added the upper and lower wind vanes, the lower led bar on the front, the trailer hitch, the backrest. I love my new bike.
Thanks for all the information about stock vs accessories. I’m getting ready to go buy a Sea to Sky tomorrow & I was under the impression from the walk around video Can Am put out that all of the accessories were included. They made the distinction clear as mud.
Hello coach Bob I looked at the sea-to-sky RT limited I something that I wanted didn't come on it so I settled for the F3 limited 2018 and I am very happy with it hope to see you on the road take care tell coach Vick I said hello
OK...I picked my 2021 Spyder RT Sea to Sky bike up last Friday and my wife and I put on over 350 in two days. Before we start I have ridden and raced dirt bikes, trikes (Yamaha Tri-Z 250) and four wheelers (Honda 250R FourTrax) along with owning street bikes to include Yamaha, BMW, Harley Davidson, Victory and Indian. I am not a novice and feel I have a good insight on riding. Here we go...this bike is beautiful, stunning and rides really nice; however, I do have few concerns that anyone who is thinking about purchasing a 2020 / 2021 needs to take into consideration. First, the radio and not a real premium radio. My 2015 Indian Roadmaster has a 200 watt premium radio which was loud and clear. This not so much. The faster you go the radio does get louder but it becomes distorted. Secondly, the "premium memory foam seat" is actually hard. My wife says hear seat is comfortable but my seat feels hard after a hundred miles. Lastly, and the most important, although the front suspension on this bike quite smooth while driving straight it is something totally different in the corners. The front of bike dives and then you try and control it and it goes the other way. I think Spyder riders call this a wobble or weave. Whatever it's called it feels dangerous! It does it more with my wife on the back. After doing my research I see that most 2020/2021 Spyder RT owners order the Elka Stage 2 front and rear shocks along with the Baja-Ron sway bar kit. Well...I ordered the shocks and sway bar kit in the tune of almost $1,700.00 just to feel safe with my wife on the back. After spending a lot of money for this "top of the line" motorcycle, and being told it has the best of everything, I don't feel too happy at the present time. I should have purchased an RT Limited and saved $3,500.00. I am not bashing the product but I did expect much more. I will perform a video review and post in online regarding the "before and after" I install the shocks and sway bar kit. I shouldn't have to install these parts on a brand new bike to feel safe.
I purchased a 2021 RT Limited because there really are no performance enhancements on the Sea to Sky. Badging doesn't make the ride better nor does color. I love the 2021 and how it handles. Coming from a 2012 RTL was a HUGE improvement and worth every cent.
After watching your video on the Sea to Sky I went back and watched the corporate walk around. They were very clear on what was an accessory and what wasn't. Interesting on how we see things, I was one that thought the adjustable handlebars and lighted floorboards were included originally. Oh well, I am taking delivery in two weeks.
Coach Bob that was an excellent video with great information and great advice which I will use when I phone my sales person Monday to firm up my purchase and delivery of the Sea to Sky I order! Thanks! And I will think of you next summer as I take Hwy 99 to Whistler!
My thoughts Exactly ...Next year Sea To Sky Highway To Whistler on our new bikes. Maybe form up a little possie of S2S ,group up and ride up together>>!!
Coach Bob. I added the BRP armrests to my 2020 with the thought of them flipping upwards like the older models. They DO Not! The swing outwards, but only go about 30° at best! Difficult for the rear passenger to clear them and the driver backrest! My thought is they are a poor design. Should pivot out at the least of 45° or more!
Coach Bob, because of all you videos you have made on the Spyder, especially "10 Reasons Not to Buy a Spyder..." my wife and I are picking up our new Sea to Sky Spyder Friday morning. Thank you for the information. BTW...the BRP promotional video does says "optional" lit floor boards, "optional" adjustable handle bar riser.
Sorry to be offtopic but does anyone know a method to log back into an Instagram account? I was stupid forgot the account password. I would love any help you can give me
@Davion Ralph Thanks for your reply. I found the site on google and Im trying it out atm. Seems to take a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Hey CB, because you go international, also note that the brake light on the rear of the top box, does not come on the Australian model. This is because of Australian Design Regulations. You can purchase them, but they're not ,legal to use.
Yeah, we have some wonderful design rules out here, eh Spyder 67? After all, what possible safety could a more visible, additional brake light provide to a narrow rear end? 😉😆
Just came from the dealer and the sales guy was oblivious to the questions I asked. Thank you for this very informative video! The sales guy didn’t know his product as he didn’t say one thing about the options available....
Thanks for the great vid Coach. I've been doing a comparison list on Excel using Can-Am/ Slingmods/Can Am Accessories/Lamonster and even Amazon. My first choice will be the S2S. (Mrs. Cowboy loves the color.) Backup will be the Marsala Red RT. Going on the Can-Am RT experience ride on March 19th. Yes sir, the camera will be rolling. I hope on my 62nd birthday (July 11th) I will be able to buy the motorcycle of my dreams. Then November 16th, I will be able to retire. Carpe Diem!
Good information. I would really like to hear how it rides in comparison to your old 19. I hear the seating position is different. Maybe not as high up and further back but I want to know how it cruises and turns and stops and over all comfort level compared to the 19. Thanks.
Thanks for clearing that up. ALL the ads/commercials I've seen show it with the LED floorboards and wind deflectors. etc. I would be highly ticked if it came without them. They should be included in the price and installed at the factory or delete those "options"/add ons shown in the commercials. Shame on CanAm for misleading customers. Also the other ad ons PLUS installation fees by the dealers. Dealers should make it very clear to the customers what it doesn't come with. Hopefully I'll be purchasing an RT this year. Now that I know the Truth I would rather purchase a regular RT Limited and order the options I want, like the LED Floorboards, wind deflectors and a couple of other things. CB thanks again for the information.
I picked mine up 2 weeks ago. Traded a 2014 RTS SM6 for it. I attended a Can Am Demo Day and rode the S2S and instantly loved it! At the Demo they gave me a factory discount card worth 500 bucks toward the purchase. So, if there is a Demo Day near you, go ryde! I was a little bummed about the floorboard LED's being an option but I see Slingmods has a nicer option for that. For me, the comfort seat is worth the price of admission. Combined with the floorboards, my tired old back says I can ride this a long way in comfort! The S2S is definitely the Mercedes of the Spyder line. I already have over 400 miles on her and it is performing nicely. One item Coach Bob did not mention is the BRP Connect app. The app is free but any app you want to add to it like navi or wx, you will be purchasing those also. So, Coach Bob, if you're ever near Florida's Treasure Coast, stop by and try out my Sea to Sky! Seize the day!
So now I am looking, with tax ect. At over 30 grand. Wow. Am biting the chair. Bank says yes. Dealer will throw in backrest. Don’t need lit boards. So he will “discount” the arm rests. Will have to see how much before pulling the trigger. Follow up. Done did it. Love this new lady. When I walked in with the check he gave us the arm rests.lol.
What scares me is the tyre ware as someone with a small pension it would get very expensive at least every year a new tyre at the back, there must be a better tyre for the spyder thats longer lasting..
I looked over and over and compared the S2S with the RTL. I bought a 2020RTL and added, backrest, vent control windshield, upgraded seats, lower front light and passenger arm rests. I love the S2S color but the branding and what is included does not justify the price. Paid several thousand less and still get the complements. Keep the videos coming CB3.
Very good video Coach. It's the same in purchasing a cnc machine. I went with management to a trade show to see a new cnc machine run. It was amazing. Something we could really use. All I was there for was my opinion on if it could do our work. Not my decision on weather to buy it or not. Management did purchase it. Much of what we saw wasn't included on it. The company was offered the upgrade to the whole software package we saw run. Very expensive. There was a automatic tool changer that didn't come with it. Also very expensive. I ended up running it the way we got it. Even companies make the mistake of not reading the fine print.
I also believe that the Can Am commercial for this Spyder, is very misleading in it's options availability. I think a Special Edition anything should have items that are standard, to that Special Edition, vs add on options for the other models. Most of the difference between this, and a standard RT model, is $2,500 different color paint scheme and a couple of logos. How does that make it so special?? Stay Alert. Ryde Safe in a fun way. Thanks for sharing. Keep on Spydering. 😎. P. S. Great job on an very informative and an enlightened presentation.
Great video! I'm looking into either buying another Goldwing (mine is a 2012) or I'm kinda leaning into buying a new Spyder, either the Sea to Sky or Spyder RT Limited in red which I love. If I go with the Spyder I'm torn between the two I mentioned..... I'm getting up in age so that ultra comfy seat on the Sea to Sky would be a major bonus. I like the color and the bags that come with it. On the Limited I just love the red color and the wheels look incredible..... decisions decisions. I see everyone seems to be complaining about the accessories. My advise is to visit the Cam-Am website and within a few short minutes you can see exactly what you're getting on the Sea to Sky and the RT Limited. Everything that you mentioned in your video confirmed what was on the website. So I'm kind of flabbergasted about the all the accessories that are not included in the price..... but it's all in black & white on the website. Like the coach very wisely said, find out what your spyder model you're interested in comes with and then go to your dealership to make a deal based on that. I know the prices are high but check out a new Harley and see if their accessories are any cheaper..... my Harleys friends all say NOT A CHANCE IN HELL!
These bikes, especially the RT LTDs are really talking to me. I’m really wanting a 21 DCT Airbag Gold Wing but these bikes are really talking to me too. I gotta take a demo ride and decide. Nice heads up and thank you Coach. Ride and safe and ride often.
Sounds expensive. Find a used one. I bought an F-3S with705 miles on it. Didn’t save much but it was just the model I wanted, so I bought it.Got to ride it for over 100 miles yesterday. First time we have had a 65 degree day in a long time. Mostly it has been in the garage on the battery tender. Fired rite.up!👍🏻
The color and wheels are stunning!! I also love the color matching of the rear case. Don't care about the emblems. I believe you can buy the bags without the sky logo. So I won't buy it. For less than $3500 I put the arm rest, seat backrest, All Elka shocks, Baja Bar, tensioner, foot pags and the Pedal Comander on my 2020 RTL.
Coach to ger to the ferry (CAPE MAY LEWES FERRY) you take the Garden State Parkway to the end. Friday and Saturday going south may have a lot of traffic going south, best to go during the week and and not hear a holiday
Thanks Coach Bob, that’s a very enlightening video that has decided me NOT to go with the Sea to Sky (I am about to upgrade from a ‘16 F3-L). Colour is so subjective that the accessories are what counts for me. I don’t find the colour any more attractive than the RT Limited options. Whether the trunk lid is black or colour matched doesn’t bother me. At 6’7” I have get a custom Russell Daylong seat anyway. This means that the only option of any use for me is the unique, wheeled, hard luggage (and I’m sure a 3rd party will bring out their version soon😉), and I am not prepared to spend around $4k aud effectively just for luggage and badging. I can buy all the accessories you mentioned, plus the Daylong seat, and still be under the stock Sea to Sky price. For my particular needs, that makes the decision a “no brainer”. Again, thanks very much for making the time to create this very informative video👍
My wife really loves her new sea to ski but with that being said we was disappointed when we picked it up to realize the assesories wasn't included. For us the biggie was the adjustable handlebars. My wife is on the short side and we will have to add them. Also not sure how we will adjust the brake lever for her but we knew that going in. We will also add the lighted floorboards when they are available and a backrest. As far as the color it was a huge selling point for us . Looks amazing and even better in the sun . My question to anyone is about tire pressure ? Seems like the recommended pressure is really low.
The recommended tire psi does seem too low, I keep 18 psi in the front and 26 in the rear, however BRP is correct and you should follow the owners manual.
Just got my Sea to Sky last weekend. Put 260 miles on it in the rain. Couldn’t resist! Beautiful bike! BTW: the actual color looks better in real life verses online!
I liked the Limited better. The seat is shaped differently on the sea to sky. It's a bit narrow on the back where it should get wider the way the seat on the Limited does. I like the way the water flows down instead of into the crotch area like the normal seats but long term it's not as comfortable and the stitching makes it worse. The color and the rest of it are nice but I couldn't ride that version long term.
It seems to me that BRP has made the Sea-To-Sky model along the same line as Harley's CVO model line up. You can get a few bells and whistles, but if you want any more, or bigger bells and whistles you're going to have to pay more for them. In my mind, the RT LTD is the better deal plus I can't see spending almost $30,000 bucks for a Sea-To-Sky when you're just buying the name. TCRS. Gerry Wood
WOW, didn't realize that the things I wanted were extra, my wife and I are going this weekend to see it looks like a little negotiating is in the cards or just get the petro blue!
Don't know about OEM armrest but I know an aftermarket armrest actually mounts to the top bag and when you remove the bag the armrest come with it . Maybe it's the same with the OEM rest .
Great review Coach Bob. I know one of the main reasons people are trading for the 2020 or 2021 is the way it rides and handles. I would be very interested in your perspective on that, if you plan to ride one in an upcoming video. In other words how do the ride and handling characteristics compare to your 2019. Thanks for your continued videos, you and Coach Vic are #1! 😊
Looks like Coach Bob is out shopping again! Now that I know what is missing from what was announced, I sadly feel the STS price tag increase over an RT is too high for the limited benefits.
Generally I like your reviews, but I believe the Can Am reveal on the Sea to Sky did state clearly that the items were an accessory. The deflectors are actually standard equipment. I added the LED running lights on the foot boards, the backrest and I’ve ordered the adjustable handle bars. I knew full well that these were extra. By their video and by looking at their website. That said, they are a Canadian based marketing department and I think they could have been more clear in the video but they clearly said accessory each time. Now the bike is still getting fitted with the accessories at the dealer and the adjustable handle bars are on factory back order so it’ll be a few days before I pickup the bike so I did enjoy today’s video with your son. Thanks for producing these.
They have 2 different style arm rest that can stay on cause they hook in at the set level....The running board lights were a surprise but not a BFD I just added them on I also add the LED turn-signals on the front fenders what sucks is labor hourly cost $125 an hour........390 for a oil change ya thats wright.....change your own oil
Great Info Coach Bob; truly enjoy your channel. Am new to the Spyder RT concept after yrs of HD riding (73 yrs old). It's time for 3 wheels - am tired of being called "Tommy Tumbles" by wife & kids. Anyway am set on 2020 0r 2021 RT Limited Chrome models; BRP currently has $2000 spring rebate on 2020 models and am trying to compare differences & upgrades between each model year w/o success. Can you help? Thanks much, keep up the good work you and Coach Vicky provide - extremely helpful.
I will do a little research and possibly put out a video on this. I’m going to reach out to a couple of dealers and owners and ask some questions. I don’t believe there is any substantive change between 2020 & 2021. I’ll definitely let you know my findings.
The differences of the various models are amazingly difficult to follow. I know the differences between the basic Ryker and the Spyder, but the subtleties of the differences of the Spyder F3; the F3-S; the F3-S Special Series; the F3-T; the F3 LImited; The F3 Limited Special Series; the RT; the RT Limited; and the ultimate, the RT Sea to Sky are impossible to follow. in the Ryker model you have the basic Ryker; the Sport; and the Rally. Now that was much easier to follow. Three models of the same basic frame and a list of extras from which you can choose. The Spyder has nine (count them 9), different models with seemingly no set list of what is different about what comes as standard on one that is an extra cost option on another, except the Sea to Sky which has everything (it seems). Then they change model names year to year, to add to the confusion. Honda and Toyota do it right! In 1985 I bought a Honda Accord. I know if I went into a Honda dealer today and asked for an Accord I would get the same level of trim, extras and accessories compared to other models within the brand in 2022 that I did in 1985, only improved to today's standards. With the Can Am Spyders I have to really pay attention to what each of the nine models contain to be sure I'm getting the option level I really want. It would be much better if they called out what the features of the F3 are and that the F3-S is the same as the F3 with the following additional or upgraded features, and so on with each higher level of model's features compared to the previous one. I've been looking at the F3 limited Special Series but after studying the dealer supplied product spec book for literally hours, it appears, to be much happier with the unit I eventually buy, I'll just order the Spyder RT Limited. What the differences are? I still can't tell you. On another issue: They are actually shipping built units without the electronics to be shipped later? I'll wait. Maybe the colors will change to something more acceptable next year? But, I'm 75 now so don't wait too long or you might lose a sale. I'd like a yellowish cream and cinnamon, please!
All RT's have cruise control, radio and heated grips. The RT Series Base model (no electronic suspension, rear bag, heated seat or chrome) Limited.. has the above mentioned.. The limited is the way to go for all of the real creature comforts. Sea to Sky is a special edition with a comfort sear, backrest, badging and few other niceties. When I buy again it will more than likely be an RT Limited.
@@CoachBob3 All well and good, but!! When are the electronics going to be included/shipped. Are the 2022 models going to be shipped? Or, are they just going to start calling them the 2023 models. Hope they change the colors. I'm thinking seriously about buying a beautiful blue 2018 previously owned model (Save about $10 Grand) with 1790 miles just because the complete 2022 models (including electronics) are not available and don't like the colors if they were.
@@johndix1566 2022 updates…a question we are all asking. Myself included. I’ve heard many rumors ranging from soon to ugly ones of nothing this year. I guess time will tell. We have a 19 model. I like the newer body styles .. but it isn’t pushing me to take the plunge forward to the 22’s. Certainly not in todays volatile market. Hope you find something that works for you soon. God bless. CB3
One week of ownership of the Sea to Sky, getting lots of positive comments. Getting used to it a little at a time. Will definitely get a Baja Ron Swaybar and Elka Shocks for riding 2 up and pulling a Bushtec trailer. Would I Do It Over AGAIN....Heck Ya!!!! Although disappointed in the original presentation, and videos on what was on the S2S and what were the options. Thought those options were added to this new model.
So basically $29000 for a stripped down trike. Please God send BRP rip-off trikes some new and real competition dollar for dollar. Honda, Yamaha somebody. $27- $29000 for a bunch of plastic junk!! 😤
I'd like to see you do a few more things to your RT, did u do any of your routine maintenance, like an oil and filter change? You're good at doing the explain as you go the job.
Coach Bob,,,,, i just picked up a sea to sky, myself, I have a question, when you remove your back storage and put on the back panel, how do you take it off, and does this panel lock. I don't want to break it...... I'm scared someone will walk off with my panel in a public parking space.... I figured you would know the answer to this questions because you have a lot of post on this topic......any help is good help..
Here is a video link to the back bag removal ruclips.net/video/1l8XhPdkGRo/видео.html Here is a link to the rear panel instructions instructions.brp.com/content/instruction-sheet/en_CA/e-instruction-details.html#googtrans(en)&articleNo=kA03x000000PUcXCAW&lang=en&title=CAN-AM%20ON-ROAD%20KIT%20-%20RT%20Rear%20Panel&rel_part_number=219401012,219401013,219401014,219401076,219401154,219401166 Hopefully these are helpful. Thanks for watching. 👍👍👍👍
Well then Can Am accessory person needs to say that this is 'optional accessory'. Other manufactures specify this, even with a little disclaimer *shown with optional accessories.
@@RideAboutNow it’s funny you say that. The CoachBob3 thing has been everything from motivation, weight training, motorcycles and the Spyder stuff. I love mixing it up. But there is no doubt the Spyder related topics are the biggest numbers. I look forward to watching your channel develop.
Sounds like BRP is taking a page from the Harley Davidson company. Charge a premium price for the base unit then get the customer to spend big bucks on accessories.
@Coach Bob It is my dream to have a Can Am Spyder or Ryker because I am a right leg amputee below the knee. Unfortunately I could never even come close to affording one. It is extremely depressing for me!
Having demo rode a 2021 RT Limited, personally l did not find that much of a improvement in the ride quality over our 2014 RT Limited. Just the shift clicks were a little quieter. Did you notice a button to adjust the suspension from soft to hard? I failed to notice one, like we have on our 2014 model. Enjoyed your review. Thanks for sharing. Have a pleasant weekend buddy. 🙂🏍🇨🇦
I have the comfort seat on a 2018 RT LTD and it make a noticable difference for long rides and if you or our passenger have a sensitive back. Here in Canada, that option goes for over 1000$ plus installation. So I guess that for the Sea to Sky it is a big part of the price difference with the RT LTD.
I'm originally from Toronto but have lived in the US for 20 years now, so I certainly have exchange sympathy for you, but $1k + is a very high toushy coushy premium 🇨🇦
I should add that the comfort seat is also heated, two separate zones, one for the driver and one for the passenger. Very comfortable for the Canadian north east september evening rides.
A $1000 market seat may only cost brp $250 to make. Yet, including it on a bike as standard hikes the price tag $1000 instead of $250. I understand they are in this to profit, but sometimes you need to question that profit margin. As an example, my '19 f3L cost $1000 more with the chrome option. Do I really believe that chrome cost $1000 for them to make? No. More likely $150.
Not sure we will get this model in the UK , but hey not a fan of the colour or the wheels , reminds me of a 1980 ford .Defo not a colour for the UK . But as I say we will most probably not get this model as we don't know (sea to sky) connection.
The color is definitely been a point of contention for many folks. I will say it looks better in person. I had a Chevy Nova as a teen that was a very similar color. It makes me feel all nostalgic. Let me know what ya end up getting. Thanks for watching and commenting. We're glad you're here.
This is £31.400.00 pounds in the UK with none of the pretty accessories, so works out about 44000 dollars American and 55000 Canadian , think I,ll keep my f3s. Unless I Win the lottery.
What you have to understand about BRP, ---it's MONEY, -----it's all about money- "profit". They are out to get as much as they can from us and it's evident in their prices. Thank God for After Market Companies, they come to our rescue with some pretty nice products and fairly priced, but they too are getting greedy. I commend BRP for the ENGINE-TRANSMISSION-SUSPENSION AND FRAME, which hasn't changed in the past 8 years, they are solid. What BRP has done, is add new style tupperware and removed some nice standard equipment. Give a little and charge more! I feel BRP would have to make a major mind set to really build a true LUXURY SPYDER and not cause us to have to take a 2nd mortgage on our home.
... and uhh same for Honda, HD... etc...etc, when I started looking at Trikes, my chin hit the floor at HD Trike price, Goldwing Trike cost is way up there too, and that's when I felt like the RT Ltd looked like a pretty good deal. So BRP has priced the Spyder very competively IMHO... BUT...Their accessories (for all the manufacturers) are optional, and usually expensive. And since we don't have buy their accessories, even though I'd like to, weighing their pricing Vs the value has pushed me to look elsewhere. So I agree with you, I'm also thankful for aftermarket businesses, like Slingmods, Lamonster, Big Bike Parts, and a shout out to Pierre in Quebec Canada for his Spyder Accessories business.
Coach Bob are you trying to torture me? If i recall i told you I wanted a Sea to Sky but didn't have the funding. You're tearing me up here. You can pronounce that either way.
you get there and realize that their quality control sucks and all the plastic panels have tons of swirls and scratches that you can’t remove.... for 25k
That green looks like a piece of something I would clean off my boot
😂😂😂😂😂
Send some pics of your mods. I’d love to see it. BTW. If I haven’t said it yet. Congratulations on your Sea to Sky. 👍👍👍
Definitely glad you mentioned the floorboard LED issue. That’s a big one to miss at such a high entry price.
My Thoughts EXACTLY !!!!
I would love any help you can give me
@Malcolm Titan Instablaster =)
@Davion Ralph Thanks for your reply. I found the site on google and Im trying it out atm.
Seems to take a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
@Davion Ralph It did the trick and I finally got access to my account again. I'm so happy!
Thanks so much, you saved my ass :D
@Malcolm Titan You are welcome :D
Hey CB, because you go international, also note that the brake light on the rear of the top box, does not come on the Australian model. This is because of Australian Design Regulations. You can purchase them, but they're not ,legal to use.
Yeah, we have some wonderful design rules out here, eh Spyder 67? After all, what possible safety could a more visible, additional brake light provide to a narrow rear end? 😉😆
Just came from the dealer and the sales guy was oblivious to the questions I asked. Thank you for this very informative video! The sales guy didn’t know his product as he didn’t say one thing about the options available....
Your welcome. We seem to experience the same thing you did. Glad this video helped some.
Carpe Diem!
I bought a sea to sky 2022 Coach Bob! I’m a retired Canadian who can’t wait to put those miles on.
Very nice! $30 g's? Nope! Ain't no way in hell I'd pay that much for that RT.
I just bought a 2020 Spyder RT. I love it. I'm looking for exterior lights any ideas. I did buy the floorboard lights.
Good information. I would really like to hear how it rides in comparison to your old 19. I hear the seating position is different. Maybe not as high up and further back but I want to know how it cruises and turns and stops and over all comfort level compared to the 19.
Thanks.
I love the green, I'm an old soldier Army green is great.
I do like that seat! I'm picking up my 2021 RT limited Marsala Dark Edition Tuesday! I got the air deflector upper and lower installed.
I can't complain about the color without offering what I believe would be a better alternative. A deep wine color would be awesome on the Sea to Sky.
I'm glad you mentioned this... I assumed the Sea to Sky also got those extras (e.g. adjustable handlebars, LED lights, etc.). Good to know.
Fired rite.up!👍🏻
thanks for the heads up, at least someone is being upfront!
And if your in Australia you dont get the stop/tail light in the top box as well as the LED accent lights on the front of the sea to sky...
Sounds like Can Am in acting like HD when it comes to the " Options" ...🤣💰💰 I enjoyed your view of the Good, the bad and the ugly! 👏👏💪
TCRS. Gerry Wood
I hear a lot of people complaining about the lighted floorboards not being included. Good negotiation point
I ALWAYS negotiate.
Great video! That model shown does not have the brp fog lights on it either... another pricey option!
WOW, didn't realize that the things I wanted were extra, my wife and I are going this weekend to see it looks like a little negotiating is in the cards or just get the petro blue!
You shouldn't need risers for the passenger footrests as they are height adjustable on the 2020 and later RT.
I agree... but.. with Coach Vics paralysis.. we indeed do need them.
There are 2 wind deflectors.
Part-219401088-deflector lower-$99.99
Part-219401040-deflector upper-$99.99
I've never paid that much for an oil change. $125-150 is what I've paid.
@@CoachBob3 Thanks much Bob and especially for answering so quickly. Great to know you're a man of your word.
Also wanted to let you know the AUXILIARY LIGHT ($264.99) is a accessory and does not come with the Sea to Sky.
Prefer the 2017 RT we had for looks and functionality. Good review.
The RT Series
Base model (no electronic suspension, rear bag, heated seat or chrome)
Limited.. has the above mentioned..
High priced accessories in the Harley riders world is commonly referred to as the “Harley Tax”.
Thank you for your input 9n driving the spyders I'm new to this
Thanks for watching... welcome to the Spyder world!!!
So basically $29000 for a stripped down trike. Please God send BRP rip-off trikes some new and real competition dollar for dollar. Honda, Yamaha somebody. $27- $29000 for a bunch of plastic junk!! 😤
great info, thank you! is the comfort seat available as an extra for normal RT models?
Yessir it is.. . in the world of aftermarket seats, it is in the proper price range..

Great Review Coach!!. I like those bags in the frunk and side also.... There maybe one in my future..... 🤞
I'd like to see you do a few more things to your RT, did u do any of your routine maintenance, like an oil and filter change? You're good at doing the explain as you go the job.
Very nice! I like the color.
I did not see anything that made me want to trade in my 2019 RT Limited.

Hopefully these are helpful. Thanks for watching. 👍👍👍👍
thanks coach bob
Good review CB-3 YOU THA MAN
Nice, too bad you can't opt out of floorboards and go to pegs. I would build some pegs I guess. Red would be nice too.
Well then Can Am accessory person needs to say that this is 'optional accessory'. Other manufactures specify this, even with a little disclaimer *shown with optional accessories.
I 💯 % agree. It was very deceiving .. a lot of very upset folks.
BTW. Your channel is looking good!!!👍👍👍
@@CoachBob3 thanks CB. Appreciate it. About to relaunch it as 'Ride About Now' so it's not just about Can Ams.
You are great..still love my 2019 rt limited
A real eye opener Coach.
Great unbiased review. Good work. Please keep it up.
CB3, does paying in cash provide some incentive when purchasing?
Sounds like BRP is taking a page from the Harley Davidson company. Charge a premium price for the base unit then get the customer to spend big bucks on accessories.
@Coach Bob It is my dream to have a Can Am Spyder or Ryker because I am a right leg amputee below the knee. Unfortunately I could never even come close to affording one. It is extremely depressing for me!
Hopefully in the future things will change and you’ll be able to get one. Thank you for watching our channel. Coach Vic and I really appreciate it.
It’s worth it if you want it
The first from Charlotte NC checking in good 👍 video 📹 I think its a waste of money i purchased the 2020 for $7,000 cheaper
Wait until you see 2024 pricing.....lol
The ‘24 S2S Model is 33k ($32,999) plus all the fees and taxes.
And the bags do not come with the 22 model I just bought a brand new see the sky 22 and they told me the bags do not come with it
Thanks for the video! CB3
Have always loved the spyders but $30k is just too much for a toy. Used might be an option. Love the green.
I don't recall a button... any other folks..chime in and give us information on this topic if ya know something.
Very informative. Great vid!
That bald head is squeaky clean....lol
Hey there, Bob. What was the name and place where I can buy that phone mount?
This is £31.400.00 pounds in the UK with none of the pretty accessories, so works out about 44000 dollars American and 55000 Canadian , think I,ll keep my f3s. Unless I Win the lottery.
Also the Sea to Sky is limited to 2 colors schemes.
👍👍
🤔 good job on that one. 😎🏍💨💨💨💨💨💨👍🏻🇨🇦
Coach Bob are you trying to torture me? If i recall i told you I wanted a Sea to Sky but didn't have the funding. You're tearing me up here. You can pronounce that either way.
Luv the reference to both ways to pronounce "tearing" 😅👍
Worth $20k used for a 2021? Never wrecked. 14,400 miles. From a dealer.
looking for a 2021 sea to sky with low mileage for sale
Got a question for you. Do the passenger arm rest for the Sea to Sky in any way interfere with the passenger heated grips?
I asked a buddy... he said it all worked well together.. anybody else wanna share your experience ...please respond..
Thanks for watching.
👍Good video on the bike your helper was not bad at all thanks for the information on the bike the consumers definitely needed to know.🏍🏍🏍🏍🏍
it has always been a bad omen to paint a motorcycle green ........real scooter bums know this
you get there and realize that their quality control sucks and all the plastic panels have tons of swirls and scratches that you can’t remove.... for 25k
Video doesn't do the color justice, you have to see it in person!
Very OVERPRICED bike..😊
Aren't they all!!! Thanks for watching.
