Majorly underrated channel. Most guys wish they could go and do the things you guys are doing. y'all are hilarious and good tempered even in miserable conditions. keep it up!
😅 without question, the most wonderful cabin building video I have ever enjoyed.... When I was 19 I left the logging camp to go to Half Moon Bay... North of Wrangell. Managed to survive in a tent 3 months.... Lived off fish and edible roots and vegetation... Totally alone... With the exception of two wolf cubs ....of which I gained trust.... These four gentlemen are are bringing me a flood of wonderful memories....👌🙏👏👍🤗🤗🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Discomfort is much more tolerable in a group. Imagine pushing yourself through that discomfort as an individual. It's awesome that you guys have a group. You have an instinctual recreation of the primal hunting party.
I was SO HAPPY when you turned the corner and the cabin was still standing, roof and all. I nearly cried when you started disassembling it knowing what you went through! On your next trip.... to Cody-- you have room in that bag to PACK A COMB!! But you're stubborn, at least keep your hat on--PLEASE! LOVED the video!
As an retired Senior Chief, I’d give virtually anything to meet you guys. You truly all, are admirable, talented and have remarkable character. I also am looking and researching to build my own cabin someday and you are inspirational to say the least. Beautiful work. I thank you sincerely for your efforts in filming and sharing your process and experience! All the best to you guys!
Well done, men. I watched the episode last year and have been wanting to see this. I was so excited the cabin was still standing and couldn’t believe you disassembled it but bravo on the rebuild and improvements. It was great to see except for the incidents but glad you weren’t hurt too bad. Thankful you had enough food. Also for your humor!!!! “Our house” made me laugh out loud!😂
Not many men can say they built a cabin, tore it down and rebuilt it. That's determination and hard work. Great work guys. Can't wait for the finished product and years of stories ahead.
The first look going back to the cabin was awesome!!!! Great channel, stumbled upon the first one and can't wait to catch up with the rest. So many funny lines "we have eaten so many beans we are going to be farting for like 3 weeks after". Reply "You think I am stopping?" ha ha ha ha ha that had me on the floor laughing.
You deserve WAAAYYY more views on this video, and you 100% deserve all the revenue that comes with it. Your living my dream rn. Your making a lot of people very proud, this is what lifes about👏
you typically want as much roof overhang as possible on the log cabin especially in the wet climate like Alaska. it push back roof splashback away from the lower courses so they don't rot in a hurry
On the ladder mishap, I noticed that the ladder had gotten turned around backwards and when he stepped on it it was actually pulling the nails out. Glad no serious injury. Great videos. Keep'em coming. Kudos for your initiative and determination.
I watched your first cabin making video and I kept thinking…”Who are these guys…obviously not seasoned cabin builders, but man are they tough. Where did they learn to push through and keep going under such conditions!” Thanks for sharing your history a bit on this video! You guys rock! Thanks for your service!
This is exactly what I have wanted to do for so many years. Since I was young. I have property, and have a camp, but modern. I would like to build a log cabin for my father before he is gone, and I think I am going to use your methods to build. I was going to try to do it easier, but the process is the big thing. I am so glad I stumbled on this channel and clicked. Best decision! You boys rock, and act much the same as my buddies. Cheers, and thanks for your service (I am Canadian). I respect you all.
What an Awesome group of friends! Everyone is hard working even tempered and has a great sense of humor, the only way to have it! Love it, wish you all the best!
Auto-generated captions have [Music] when you started using the chainsaw, and after watching last year's video, it seems pretty accurate. Music to your ears! Love the video!
Incredibly wholesome. Guys who can be themselves 100% around eschother, goofy or stoic, doesn't matter, no comments on eschother, just teamwork and support and having a good time unabashed. Just love for eschother and brotherhood all unspoken, rare and awesome and you guys cherish it!
That's awesome. I did 8 years in the Navy and got out in 2016. My last duty station was the Roosevelt. This was an awesome video! Y'all are really living life to the fullest and making so many memories. The people you serve with become your family and always have your back. Whoever did the video editing did a great job too. Keep the videos coming, and I'll keep watching shipmates!
You guys need to get featured on military times or something, this channel is too awesome not to be seen by more. What a difference an extra set of hands and more food makes🎉
YOUR BACK!!! Yaaaay!!! Been waiting on this! Glad you all made it! Just wish it was LONGER! Jealous💚 Sure the whole world is!!! Please keep the videos coming!!!

You guys rock. The chemistry between everyone is great. I’m sure there were ugly times, but you gents muscled through and got it done ! So awesome ! Talk about intestinal fortitude !!
Great title Josh. Glad to see more progress and who cares what anyone thinks. The 1st trip was gnarly and majority can't handle a hard days work inside with AC on.
Great job men! Dasher, falling off the ladder then stepping on the plank hitting you in the head, I am sure it hurt but it was slapstick at its best! Plus that limey guy and the “salted pork”! So funny! You guys are the best! It’s really amazing how much you got done. The planks are great too!
Glad to see you guys brought some more food. You went through some settler living last time and I’m sure it was character building, but 30lbs is a lot of hard work gone.
Just found your Journey, meaning your channel. Very nice job you guys are doing. I like the way you four get along with one another. All you four are working well with one another also..

Epic! Makes me want to watch the original build all over again. You seem to be less camp crazy this time, but it is early days I guess. Looking forward to episode two.
You four dudes are tough as nails and cute as kittens: how can that be?! Thanks for a great video which felt more like a mini-movie. Bring on the next one please!
