We are fortunate to have several awesome trail systems in the Houston area with active builders and volunteers that not only continue to build Rad new stuff but also maintain the trails and make improvements. Sugar Land is an awesome place to ride and continues to get better. Velo Solutions pump track and more singletrack planned for 2022 so stay tuned!
What a treat to see Sugarland trails highlighted by you! I have ridden there once, all xc. I would love to watch an xc video that I could use as a guide through those trails. Thanks again for sharing your ride! Happy shreds to you friend!😊❤🚴♀️
There's approximately 18 miles of singletrack trails to enjoy. I love the anthills but Sugar Land is in my back yard. I have been wanting to put together a video of the SL trails for a while. I will start working on some POV video of some of my favorite xc trails. Two new trails are already being talked about...
Great vid as always. You gotta get up to Big Cedar in DFW and hit all the new jump lines that have been built/upgraded in the last year. You'll def hit the "Send" button there.
Thanks! Big Cedar has been on my bucket list for a while. I had made plans to go check it out a few months ago but had to cancel due to some bad weather up there. Hoping to get up there soon and check it out!!
Thanks for checking out my video! I have been jumping bikes for over 40 years lol. I raced BMX in the early '80's, competed in freestyle BMX in the mid 80's and have been riding off and on ever since. I am running the classic Kash Money RF Atlas bars. Keep on shreddin'!
I have tried to get up there a couple of times but the weather didn't cooperate. I am headed to RPR this weekend. Maybe I can get up there in a couple of weeks. I would love to check it out.
Bro, I absolutely loved this one. Your editing style/format is truly amazing. I've been binging your videos all afternoon.. haha taking notes on places to check out and these have been an invaluable resource. YEW! 🤘
I’m pretty new to the sport and having trouble controlling the bike before and after jumps any tips? Also would you recommend these trails for a FRESH beginner?
Sugar Land has some of the most beginner friendly trails in the Houston area with some small to medium sized jumps. Get comfortable on the small jumps to build confidence then move on to some bigger ones. Good luck!
The Kabayan jump line is on the upper level of Roller Coaster number 7 or RC7. I believe there is a map of the trails in the link in the description or check out the FBMBA site - Fort Bend Mountain Biking Association. Happy shredding!
The Houston mtb scene is underrated. The trails are well built and well manicured and it is evident how much pride the locals have in their trails

Dang that's a nice spot, the log roll in looks like fun!
Hopefully we can make an "official" feature out of that fallen tree. I've been eyeing that for a while now lol.

@@JefcoMTB def check the wind forecast before you come. If it’s outta the north, it kinda messes up the jump lines. Calm or south wind is great.
@@toddfathermtb6942 I'll most likely message you or Mario and maybe you guys can give me a tour.
@@JefcoMTB Dude, I’d be happy to give you a tour. Been looking forward to riding w/ you👊. I’m sure @dfwfreeride would as well.
Awesome video Jefco! Smashed that thumbs up button!!
Thanks Player!!
Yeah Uncle Jeff!!
I had already filmed all my clips before you guys built that rad new feature on RC2 aka Area 51. Great job on that upgrade. Super fun!
Awesom like always!

Wow awesome so these are new jumps I have never seen them before! Great job on the video 👍😎🤘
Always great videos Jeff. Yeah I'd like to see the other parts. Enjoy a bit of xc then sessioning.
Thanks for the feedback! As soon as the trails dry up, I'll be working on some Sugar Land XC videos!
I'm too scared to ride that tree yet at the end! You make it look so easy!
Pretty sweet place! How long have you been jumping? Pretty sweet RF handlebars too what kind are they?

@@JefcoMTB this weekend will be good. 😁.
This reminds me of the makeshift trail me and my friends built when we were like 13. It was basically a modified ditch hidden behind some trees lol.

Which part is the kabayan jump line located at?

Wow, I started about a year too late, most of the wooden features are gone now.
What is the exact address to these trails?
There is a link in the description to the FBMBA. Address and trail information is included there. Thanks for watching!! ✌
@@JefcoMTB Where is the best place to park?
@@silver01stang Most folks park at the Brazos River Park by the Sugar Land water tower. Good luck!
@@JefcoMTB Thanks for the information. Much appreciated. I'm going there this weekend.
can’t find this spot on google maps does anyone have the name
The big berm is on the New Territory side north of HWY 59. First set of features when you are heading north. Good luck 🍀
