Afternoon men …sorry for absence but new phone has been purchased and the lad will be regularly uploading footage from our 4 currently running projects Episode 2 on this project is in editing stage now God bless
I Love seeing your passion about historical quality building processes. Such a great thing to see and I’m glad there’s people out there still willing to pay the right money to have the right guy working on their project with the right passion for correct work. It’s what I strive for in my career also. Keep the content coming!
Need more like you in the trade. I'd give mu right arm to work for you mate. The last od a dying breed, Where's the care and love gone for the English heritage. All the best mate
Good man once again mate / give your eyes a treat one day and have a look at warly old mental hospital in Brentwood Essex at all the Heritage work I worked on for a few years ; it’s a bit of you I recon and I done some lovely stuff there - keep up this stuff mate brilliant 🍀👍
I was on the new builds as well and built the flats next to the church and remember that happened with the skulls- loved working there / keep these videos going there brilliant and hopefully your young fella learns some of our skills / my 3 sons are descant trowels and keeping up 3 generations of us brick layers- god bless 🍀👍
Brilliant, Deano, educational, nice to see the pride and the passion hope your drum is coming on Well I’m doing something similar and again it’s not a race it’s about enjoying the process of making it individual keep it up mate. Keep them videos coming on all areas enjoying it. Good luck to you .
the fact is as a bricklayer, the more you lay the more you earn, the likes of you and dare I say Rob Singer are few and very far between. I personally rather do decorative work stuff that needs thinking about but youth are line money
There is so much wrong with What you say it’s unbelievable , I run a firm 8 blokes give me a job like this over a new house build any-day of the week there is far far more money in this , simple as it’s harder to do, if your not making as much your pricing is wrong
28 got a massive love for construction due to my grandad I’m trying to get myself into bricklaying but not having any luck just feel like everybody wants someone with some experience but to say before my time you didn’t need experience just ask about and you’ll be in the trade I. No time
You show great attitude and appreciation to heritage Deano. Well in. Craftsmanship at its finest. Would this of been built out of lime mortar? As it’s a 19th century victorian style house
Looking forward to watching the job progress. Side note , living in the States I've never been much for what I call soccer aka football however the premier League shows it's games on my streaming network so I started watching a little take here and there. Love the tradition " I'm learning " and love the Passion of the fans , I wanted to know if you had a team you pull for ? I know a lot of athletes who played at a high level don't even follow the sport the use to play so that may be true for you as well. , Thanks for the content. Love the craftsmanship. God bless.
I bet he uses Hydrated lime. It makes me laugh when you get a specification of works from a know it all and he states that lime must be used. He then gives you a ratio of 4|1|1. 4 sand, 1 lime, and 1 cement. They seem to crumble when you mention NHL
realistically give any decent bricklayer a stack of bricks and the right compo he will build english/flemish any bond required , nothing heritage or traditional about that , just bollox to up the price to the gullable man with lots of money , if anyone wants to see real heritage work watch ROB SONGER that man can demand top money without the bull shit

Great video bud keep up the good work 👷♂️🧱
Seeing that lad at the end, reminded me of Max Quartermain ‘super hod’, plasterers mate. Carried a hod with 16 stone in it!
2 blokes unloading a pick up😂, one throwing bricks to the other stacking, just back the truck up another 6 foot and hey presto its a 1 man job
Never seen a completed project how’s the wine cellar get them on?
Do you mean getting on??. Or do you actually believe thats what the saying is??
Maybe he means. "Get them on" as in all of the unfinished projects
@@brucetindal7399 you no what I mean you must be dyslexic to 😂

Absolutely brilliant, love the care and passion ❤

guessing this job had been done once but wrong? A lot of work if not the case. How did heritage sign off materials?

Great job as usual suprised you dont use a ginny wheel easier than the hod
Cushdy not a lead tray anywhere don’t forget I did once on a simple job😂😂
You got a good job there dean ule be able to retire.
Interesting stuff but slightly awkward to hear you when you talk facing away from camera.
🤟
Shouldn't be using cement mortar if its a heritage job it should be lime.
What about the wine cellar
Gona finish off episode 2 when lid goes in mate so they are on the internals at min
Is your house finished deano?
No mate on hold need to get the £’s in
Are you building in lime mortar as the house would have been originally built in
There would have been no cement in the mix at all

@simbrk6458 especially if you use white cement. Double the strength of normal cement so no flexibility or breathability
Yerr i always wonder bout a bloke running down another tradie, be careful for the tail, for the money he was bumped for buddie ?

Greedy Subbys have ruined bricklaying. This is admirable, bricklaying is a skill, a craft and the Construciton industry needs more of this.
So you will be building with lime then and no cement? If so, you'll wish you watched a few more of Charlie's pic and dip videos
