Truly one of the most epic and memorable boss battles ever. The evil music, the dead Barons showing something truly powerful dwells here, the loud roar, the eerie stomping, the first encounter, the intense rocket battle afterward... classic.
2011, 9 years old. Playing Doom for the first time in my dad's iPad. Even thought the game was kinda goofy until I heard the rapid stomping of cyberdemon's metal hooves and how it just wouldn't die. 11 years later I still play this game from time to time. Thank you Doom for sending chills down my 3rd grade spine!
This music scared the shit out of me the first time I played this game. When I first heard it I KNEW that shit was going down and I was probably on a boss level.
This one always creeped me out. Being frigggin 12 and playing this at midnight, having this frantic feeling of an adrenaline dump because I’m running my little ass off trying to put distance between myself and that damn cyberdemon. Man, this game was so scary, so badass, so dark, and most importantly….so METAL!!!
When I was a kid, me and my brother played together and died on the first second with the cyberdemon. We were stunned for few minutes. The next movie should be John Romero playing doom1+2.
I can conclude that boss fight levels in DOOM and DOOM II are fucking awesome and also nerve-racking first time playing through the game. Its scary when you start to get low on ammo.. thankfully you can always resort to sawing the demons in half
Imagine, a mass funeral of hundreds of “dead” people sit in their caskets. All is peaceful, people mourning their dead relatives, when suddenly, you hear this music. You look around to see the source when suddenly, the “dead zombies” rise from their caskets. You try to run for your life, but one of them grabs you. “This is the end,” you think. “I’m really going to be killed by zombies. It pulls out a… gun? “This is the end of the road, buckaroo,” the zombie says. *BANG* Confetti shoots out everywhere. “Haha, April fools!” You breathe a sigh of relief, as it was just an April fools joke.
Cyberdemon 4000Hp does 40-240 damage depending on if it's splash damage or direct Hit it can instant kill the Doom guy/slayer. Sider mastermind she has 3000hp with a super chain gun that does 15-45 damage per hit. Not as strong as the cyberdemon but just as deadly if it wasn't for the BFG 9000 you get that's behind her which is hidden behind the door. On episode 4 map 8.
so... I was just munching on a mouthful of easter chocolate and noticed half way through the song that I was chewing following the same rhytm as when the Cyberdemon shoots rockets, it even made a similar sound :D
This is fucking iconic. This track tells you up front that this is the arch-nemesis kind of deal; the most dangerous foe yet, and the one who will loathe you the most. All that surrounds the two of you is the same ammo. You're both ready to blow each other up to death.
I remember getting tired of OSTS getting re used a bit,And at the time (and still do) find Barron’s hard,so when I got to this, saw Barron’s nailed up to a wall and heard a new OST,all I could say was…. *well, fuck*
A worryingly large amount of rockets and a rocket launcher. Just sitting there. Barons of Hell gutted and pinned to the walls. And the sound of something metallic moving around... Something wicked this way comes.
If the hanging dead Barons didn't give you concerns, that loud roar and stomping will.
Damn that stomping and yelling scariest thing

But Doomguy, he doesn't give a shit

Damn, the Cyberdemon is one of the most formidable opponents I faced when I first played Doom.
makes sense....
Truly one of the most epic and memorable boss battles ever. The evil music, the dead Barons showing something truly powerful dwells here, the loud roar, the eerie stomping, the first encounter, the intense rocket battle afterward... classic.
I think this song is the best of all DooM saga
2011, 9 years old. Playing Doom for the first time in my dad's iPad. Even thought the game was kinda goofy until I heard the rapid stomping of cyberdemon's metal hooves and how it just wouldn't die.
11 years later I still play this game from time to time. Thank you Doom for sending chills down my 3rd grade spine!
"The Infamous Tower of Babel. The pant shitting heard everywhere because we didn't know how to circle strafe." - Civvie11
The songs gets crazy when the drums join in!!!.....Ahh...that damn Cyberdemon...good, yet painful memories!!!....
1:03 is when the beat drops
More like 1:59
ROOOOAAAAUURRRRGHHH! 👹
Stomp stomp stomp
*lost soul sounds*
Am i the only one who liked the sound of the Rocket Launcher?? :D
no
+The Cyberdemon hahaha yeah
I like it. :>
AAAAAGH
_poomp_ wooosh *BOOM!*
15 years. and this is still the best.
More like 30 years
Take notes, this is an epic example of introducing an epic boss.
Been looking for this
This music scared the shit out of me the first time I played this game. When I first heard it I KNEW that shit was going down and I was probably on a boss level.
I could never appreciate how awesome this track in game because the Cyberdemon is so damn loud
Nobody Told Me About this Insane Cyberdemon!
GangstaKenny10 indeed, as its not mentioned in the munual!
tell me about it tough huh hioasfd
This one always creeped me out. Being frigggin 12 and playing this at midnight, having this frantic feeling of an adrenaline dump because I’m running my little ass off trying to put distance between myself and that damn cyberdemon. Man, this game was so scary, so badass, so dark, and most importantly….so METAL!!!
*"MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"*
*LOUD CLANKING*
*THWOMP*
*THWOMP*
*Doomguy Scream*
*screen goes red*
When I was a kid, me and my brother played together and died on the first second with the cyberdemon. We were stunned for few minutes.
The next movie should be John Romero playing doom1+2.
El infame go 2 it de final doom le hace honor a este tema
Opino lo mismo
A parte del E2M8
There are more cyber demons in thy flesh consumed then every other episode combined
Best song.
Song xD
Official theme of the Brazil biome in RLcraft (Rahovart boss fight)
I can conclude that boss fight levels in DOOM and DOOM II are fucking awesome and also nerve-racking first time playing through the game. Its scary when you start to get low on ammo.. thankfully you can always resort to sawing the demons in half
before drum solo: OH NO
after drum solo: *_O H Y E A H_*
Aggressively running in a circle
it took me years to actualy beat that map without of fearing cyberdemon
"Humiliating the cyberdemon"- Civvie11
Everyone's talking about the first Cyberdemon fight, but I'm thinking about the thirteen Cyberdemons in Go 2 It
Cyberdemon 4000Hp does 40-240 damage depending on if it's splash damage or direct Hit it can instant kill the Doom guy/slayer.
Where are the anoying kids whining about 240p? Not here! coz its friggin DooM!
THIS IS SO STUPID WHY IS THERE NO HD OH MY GUUURD!!! (sarcasm.)
Wait, this is 240p? I didn't noticed, it sounded really good so I just thought it was better. Just goes to show how great Doom Music is I guess!
Alex Samuel That is true.
Alex Samuel Ikr :p i had the same thing.. it sounds so good!
It sounds better than the file of it have, and that's a Midi. I wounder why that is.
i'm going to blast this in school
Someone should dub this into Doom3's cyberdemon fight, and call the video "Nobody told me about the dig"
this was my fav. episode in the game... Episode 2! and this was probably my favourite level... probably because of the music!
👍
"Rahovart, Lord Of The Underworld."
*Demonic Laugh*..
15 years. 15 years later, this song still strikes me with fear and doubt.
"-And the Cyberdemon fired the rocket-missile!"
But they were trapped, and not able to kill...
This is fucking iconic.
This track tells you up front that this is the arch-nemesis kind of deal; the most dangerous foe yet, and the one who will loathe you the most.
All that surrounds the two of you is the same ammo. You're both ready to blow each other up to death.
me: *swings my fist*
the cyberdemon: "I'm gonna end this man's whole career"
theres some lost souls flying around
"okay, so?"
*bang*
*RROAAAR*
"oh fuck"
I remember getting tired of OSTS getting re used a bit,And at the time (and still do) find Barron’s hard,so when I got to this, saw Barron’s nailed up to a wall and heard a new OST,all I could say was….
*well,fuck*
Sounds kinda like a song that would play in a funhouse, it fits pretty well, somehow lol
was it just me or when I heard the cyberdemon I legit turned off my xbox 360
A worryingly large amount of rockets and a rocket launcher. Just sitting there.
Barons of Hell gutted and pinned to the walls.
And the sound of something metallic moving around...
Something wicked this way comes.
Doomguy goes to the fridge to get a glass of milk
Nobody told him about Id :(
