  • This air cooler I've been using for last 2 years. I really like it.
It's not an air conditioner, but it works pretty good.
It's an evaporative cooler that you can 3D print. It used "size 4" coffee filters.
Apart from that you'll also need a 120mm fan.

Nice idea 🤔 here in Sicily, with an avg 45000% moisture, _might_ not be the best choice 🥵 but it is something to try indeed 👍👍
(and it's good to see you back, from time to time 😊)

Some people asked me about the metal melting video.....there have been delays, but it's 99% done. It will be uploaded in August.

I built similar "air coolers" when i was 8 years old and was dreaming for an AC.

I'm not an expert, but I think reusing the same coffee filters for a long time might cause bacteria or mold to grow, becoming unsanitary; instead of stapling the filters, I'd suggest clipping them together with clothespins, food clips or some other thing. Great idea though, I've actually been thinking about making something similar!

Just use a little of vinegar sometimes for filters and box. Or you can just boil filters

Hi, one question, 4 years ago you made a mod of a Nokia 3310 that lasted about 55 days, but can you do it with a smartphone? It doesn't matter which smartphone it is, but as long as you make a mod to a smartphone with a battery life of more than 50 days, it's worth it. Can you do it and send it to your channel?

Filters eventually start to smell real bad, need to replace them and maybe put something in the water so nothing would grow there.
