I love my Channel Petrel with bearings. I got it apart, so I had to put it together. I see that I have the screws the wrong way. The holes is on the "MC Studio" side.😊. I guess it doesn't make any difference though. By the way, I didn't get any extras. Wish I got bearings and hardware, that would be perfect. All in all, my favorite balisong for sure. Unbeatable for the price.✌
Yes I still own this and I plan on keeping it in my collection! It is holding up great. If the tang pins get loose, just remove them and add some red loc tite and reinstall. I don't think they put thread locker on from the factory. Seems to be the only issue.
My petrel seems to have loose pivot pins/screws. It seems to flip well, but i'm afraid it's going t come too loose. Does anyone else feel like their pivot pins can turn on their own? If I tighten them, the petrel doesn't flip as easily.
Thanks for commenting. I had not had the pivot screws spin freely. I used blue loctite on the screws when I first bought it and let it sit for 24 hours. That's the hard part! Good luck
Hello! does the Petrel comes in separate package because you request it ? or do they ship like that by default? and did you request the extra hardware and tang pins ? or do they come that way? thank you
Petrel ships disassembled because of laws. Very easy to assemble... Also I asked for extra pins and they sent it with the package. I love my petrel. Thanks for the comment 👍🏼
