The new voice sounds like the start of a gag where it's revealed Blitzo was dubbing over the actual broadcast as a joke because he got bored watching the news.
I think katie killjoy is the only character whos voice change i feel strongly about. It just doesnt sound like its coming from her. Someone else said it but it just makes me think blitzo is dubbing over the news broadcast to be funny. Pretty jarring to me. Im surprised how many people dont mind this change. She just no longer sounds like a news anchor anymore which was kindof the gag in the og for her to have all the inflections of a real news anchor but just really unhinged and crass. The rest of the cast i think does a decent job, katie just has me thinking "this is so random what were they thinking"
I'm confused at why they changed Katie Killjoy's voice. Can Brandon Rogers sing or is it because Katie's based off Bryce Tankthrust? Or did something happen with the original voice actor?
