In keeping with the time period. I agree with dad. Don't date GIs until after they get out of service and can relate with normal citizenship back into reguler society, or else you'd probably end up trying to fix the brokrn pieces alone after work or in the hospital trying to deal with the mental stress like ptsd and all the nightmares it brings with it.
