-Dark, grim atmosphere from the start, just as early concept arts have shown it.
-Camera angle on Chixia's belly and Baizhi's legs shown not ostentatiously.
-Showing Chixia using grapple hook as gameplay mechanic.
-Representing Yangyang's Resonance Liberation faithfully, according to the CBT2 footage.
-Same thing with Chixia's charged attack as shooting one powerful bullet.
Truly, Kuro went hard creating this cinematic.
And it was so cool, as a lover of animation I was so excited when I saw them use 2d and 3d!!

@@imkawaii9206 yeah i prefer they make upgrades like pgr rather than releasing new characters every patch. It'll just end up being a chore. It would be cool as well if later in the game when the lore has really peaked and enemies becomes harder, there's a mechanic for characters to change between their upgraded and normal forms for even more juicy gameplay.
Even the NPC got recognition, Kuro really loved every character.

I love how much efffort that kuro put on the NPC soldiers, they look even more heroic than the playable characters to me. A game with good story will show characteristics on everything include NPCs, not just playable characters.

True. It really helps in world-building. Sometimes gacha games don't focus on NPCs to the point that their cutscenes feel like ads.

I like how they showed that people fight back since day one of catastrophe. Overall i enjoy type of post-apocalypse where humanity didn't turn into rats aiming to roll over and die, fight back instead.

The green or turquoise colour really goes well for Jiyan tho. The dragon symbolism or aesthetic, not sure the word for it, is a neat design choice.

The animation here is one of the best cinematic trailers I've seen in any anime-styled game. The blend of 2D effects with the 3D animation, camera angles, pacing, music, it's very nicely done!

Wow this is a banger! Seeing this, I wish that Kuro would add an entire region that is a whole entire city like the one seen in the video. Just a whole entire concrete jungle unlike the usual grassy plains and mountains we see across different open world games. Something like Nier Automata's map design would be nice (Without it's tedious map traversal of course. Just the idea on how it looks like). It could be something like a former capital city of a nation turned into an entire tacet field or something along those lines.
This is so epic! Can't wait to play in 21 days.

RUclips doesn't support Dolby Atmos so it's just regular stereo audio. Also most headphones don't support Dolby Atmos either so you'd need one of the few supported gaming headphones or a home theater speaker setup with in-ceiling or up-firing speakers
Wuthering Wave has attracted more my attention than Genshin Impact does even day one, i've played the game around 2022, didn't finish Mondstad right away before resuming and i didn't start Liyue but i grew bored and uninterested to continue while i have more progression in Honkai Star Rail and Honkai Impact 3rd and the drama in the Lantern Festival didn't help either. As a Punishing Gray Raven player, i can't wait to see what Kuro Game has came up with this open world and post apocalyptic game with my own eyes.
