My friend Lancia smith who sent me the book about violin making has her own beautiful website, dedicated to cultivating the true, the good, and the beautiful here:

Finally, if you would like to encourage me in keeping this channel going you could always pop round and buy me a coffee on this page (until the glad day comes when we can share proper coffees in a real coffee shop!

beautiful words on craftsmanships that you choose to read to us. Especially since I play the violin and also go to an art academy where we have a amazing pottery workshop
I loved this.... A few years back I heard a woodpecker fly from tree to tree at Trumpington- meadows. Each had a different sound as he pecked. Since then the trees have become glockenspiels in my mind, the woodpecker a musician who shares with us, the spirit of the Creator.
thanks, - that's a lovely story and image
You all prolly dont care but does anyone know of a method to log back into an Instagram account..?
I was dumb lost my login password. I would love any tricks you can offer me!
@Leo Louie instablaster :)
@Lian Van I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site through google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff atm.
Takes a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
@Lian Van it did the trick and I now got access to my account again. I'm so happy!
Thank you so much, you saved my ass !
Love that Harvest Moon sound. So lovely...books and music and a cozy visit. What a nice way to spend a few moments on a Sunday afternoon. Thanks for having us in.
Glad you enjoyed it
Thank you so much for sharing these gems with us! Your joy and sense of awe are contagious! So blessed to have discovered you and your universe!
Thank you so much!, glad you've found this little channel
I was playing because it has these harmonics. I love this guitar. 🎸It's sort of made on the lines of a violin.
Beautiful analogy. Slainte brother....
Thank you kindly
Your videos provide light and joy in a dark time. Thank you.
Glad you like them!
Greatly enjoyed the time today "with" you, Malcolm! Thank you :)
My pleasure!
Beautiful thought two gifts arriving the same day to uplift your soul
That is very beautifully crafted and fine sounding guitar. What a lovely pair of gifts to receive and share with us, the lesson of appreciating the strength we grow through adversity rather than ease is an important one.
it is indeed. I see you too have a fine array of instruments. I was fascinated by your sequence about making the Anglo-Saxon Lyre - I'm very tempted but I don't think I have the skill
Great as always 👍🙂
Thanks for the visit
Beautiful words about the fingerprints of God getting on the clay (us). Makes one feel special. Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful spiritual metaphors. Thank you for sharing.
thanks!
I once knew a violin maker in Juneau Alaska. Beautiful talk like always.
thanks
Isaiah 49 is a precious passage for me. Clay remaining in the potter's hands. Fingerprints remaining on the post-fired piece. With the quality of trees forged through adversity. Great blessing.
a favourite of mine too!
I'm pretty close to having a study closely resembling yours...and yes, being surrounded by books is to be surrounded by knowledge...
it is indeed!
Love the song Harvest Moon
And that is a beautiful guitar!
thanks. Yes, if only I could play it as well as Neil!
@@MalcolmGuitespell lol you do pretty well
I love playing the guitar but only for my own fun I don't think anyone else would want to listen! Haha but it's enjoyable
And we share the love of Bob Dylan who is one of my very favorites. Great video again
Right on time, Sir.
Your comments bring to mind a book I read last year (and want to read again), Liturgy of the Ordinary: Sacred Practices in Everyday Life, by Tish Harrison Warren, an ACNA priest.
yes, Ive always loved George Herbert's phrase that prays is 'Heaven in Ordinary'
Hello Malcolm. I only just found and subscribed to your channel after a friend in the RUclips Pipe Community nominated you for the 5 and 3 challenge. For reference take a peek at Leo Aldopold’s last video. I am quite excited to see the rest of your videos.
Take good care,
Stephen

@@MalcolmGuitespell Tried to send you this before but didn't take, trying again. ruclips.net/video/34VDjrHPF8k/видео.html
As easy as it is to believe in chaos and turmoil, serendipity and synchronicity like that are proof of an underlying flow and pattern. Created by us? God? Both?
yes, I think that underlying flow and pattern are given by god but its up to use to steer float and sail in it, to make the most of his currents
