- The plaintiff used to be close friends with the defendant. However, the plaintiff says the defendant borrowed her car, racked up 10 tickets, and he didn’t even tell the plaintiff, so she’s suing. The defendant insists the plaintiff is suing for more than he owes.
You may win in the courtroom but you will still get read by Douglas in the hallway!

People need to look at their vehicle as a weapon. Would you loan a gun to that person? If they shoot someone, then you're responsible. Same way if they have a car accident or get tickets. The defendant is so self-absorbed and ungrateful.

I pretty much just told him the same thing. A car CAN be a weapon and has been for many a person killed by either a drunk driver or just an accident. And with NO insurance the car owner would be paying for it for the rest of their lives if the family of the deceased takes it to court.
I know a person that lives here locally that killed another person in a car accident and this person had NO insurance. They have been paying the family for over 10 years now for all of their bills.@@MommyHadALittleOne Why are these kids so stupid? Or maybe I should say NO common sense whatsoever. Never loan an uninsured car to anyone. Never loan a car to someone without an agreement that they pay the insurance at least a month up front and have the dates that they are using it and that they are responsible for any tickets or damage related or unrelated to an accident. And take pictures.

Don't play the drinking game of taking a shot whenever the plaintiff and defendant says the word "like". The numbers of like per second is impressive especially from the defendant. Where I live in my language we have a filler word like that as well. It could sound like the buzzing of a mosquito so when I was a kid and kept using that filler word, my family members would just make a fly sound to make me aware that I used it. I got so annoyed after a while that they indeed cured me of using said filler word every 2-3 words. Guess all those teenagers and young adults didn't have many people who cared what their speech would be like in adulthood like I did.

Just one quick look at her friend should be enough time to see how entitled and disrespectful he is. This is the most entitled generation in history. Nothing is their fault. Everything should be free or given to them. They shouldn't have to work or if they do it should be from home with no actual schedule. Come and go as they please. Get paid 6 figures for 15-20 hours a week. Pay for my breakfast, lunch and dinner too. Oh and if I do need to go into the office I will need to bring my mental health service dog. I may need to go on stress leave for a month or two every quarter.
