This might be the best all around back weve seen in college since Tomlinson and Ricky Williams.
MAYBe Jonathan Taylor? But his line and schemes and opponents made it a little easier for him than what Ashton is doing.
For a back at Boise to do what he’s doing against the level of comp he has faced in some of these games? It’s not as if the running lanes are WIDE open. His blocking has been good, but he is creating hundreds of extra yards above expected or after first contact. It’s amazing.
Does anyone know how many forced missed tackles he had just last night? He had 22 in the first two games alone.
He legit is sort of like Tomlinson was. That’s amazing. 4.40 speed. Insane powerful and aggressive running style. Jukes and elusiveness for days. And so hard to bring down. Oh and he can play in the slot!

If this guy isn’t the heisman I don’t know what is. In another season maybe Travis Hunter could win but this is the best runningback we’ve seen for decades. Reggie bush looked “cooler” but in terms of effectiveness and what he’s doing stat wise and YAC wise it’s truly the most well rounded runningback play we’ve ever seen at the college level atleast since the 90s

This guy is unbelievable!!! But his only showcase that’s a worthy opponent is Oregon and Oregon run defense is one of the worst in the top 25! His remaining competition is a cakewalk. With his skill set it’s easily a 2000 yard season. But the competition might be his downfall in the heisman contention. Milroe is slicing through Georgia like wet bread. Travis hunter is locking down a whole side of a Field, Forcing Fumbles and Catching Tds over multiple defenders and diving for interceptions against better competition! It’s going to be a great show this year 🥃 I can’t wait for the ceremony 🎉
