If the biggest controversy in my RUclips career is that I said a character is from the wrong game, I’ll take it. I mean, as we’ve seen over the last couple of weeks, it could be MUCH worse.

To be clear, it's not meant to be hate, we are all humans and we all make mistakes, especially if we have to process and compress so much information into a single video. To be fair, I think most people's first interaction with Jacket was Payday 2. Certainly was with me as I have never played Hotline Miami.
In a game called Angry foot there’s a level with jacket in it too. The game is a homage to Hotline Miami.

@@corwinchapman4565 to the extent of my knowledge, payday 2 was way more popular than hm, hm2 had a crossover with payday 2, and bc payday 2 is more known, it's a common mistake, if you see a protagonist/character that was in a popular game, but not originally from it, you'd might say that it was from the more popular game. that's where the "its the guy from fortnite" joke came from - it's not comment bait

Which is more likely, that in the hours and hours it takes to write, record, edit, and publish his work, all the combing through details, that not once did he look up the character, or that he inserted a little factual error to get people to comment and boost his video through engagement? Although I'm not all that well-versed in Doom lore. But based on the Armour, this was most likely added in before Doom Eternal. I'm not going to bother explaining why this is important since Death Battle is already a good enough example

I'd argue that it's about technicality. If Jacket is, indeed, in Payday 2, then Captain isn't technically wrong. Depends on who plays the games first in my opinion. But then again, it's all technical.

We call them toasties and they're absolutely fine. We also have dedicated toastie makers, kitchen equipment(?) dedicated entirely to making toasties. My favourite is a ham and cheese toastie. Which is a regular one, just with ham inside too. Although one time I did add eggs, bacon and some sausage

In Rage 2, at 5:21, i think that is not Altaïr, but Desmond Miles from AC, and Jacket, the chicken head is a reference to another Devolver game who was already mentionned in the comments. Be careful when people send you these to check them before.
Genshin Impact joked about the water thing in the latest update. When they did a collab with Duolingo they gave every player 10 bottles of Duolingo water. Drinking it barely does anything (1hp regen per second) but the item description is hilarious if you know the history.

Fun detail: in Borderlands 3 when you go get the forms to get Ember's ship out of impound, it give you two bells you can ring at the customer service station. A silver one which is free and gets a slow, meandering response that takes a little bit. Or a gold "premium" bell, that costs 112$ to ring and which causes the services npc to come running much more quickly.

The duke nukem easter egg for sam is just a reference to sam from the serious sam series
I recognize the thumbnail, as it is from the Duke Nukem 3D levels mod for the Serious Sam Fusion. You can find it in the 3rd level in the chapel the same way with the original.

Finally; some good content for when im trying to poop
Here's another easter egg that destroy the competition. In cyberpunk 2077 if you go to the trailer park in the badlands, there's an old train tracks near the area. If you head down the tracks, there's a train tunnel that has 2 dead people and a destroyed motorcycle. This is a reference to gta san andreas infamous mission "wrong side of the tracks". More evidence to back it up is that if you loot one of the bodies there's a shard conversation of the two and they're named JC nad Little Smoke (CJ and Big smoke) and in the conversation both of them were trying to follow the train they were chasing but met their demise. What funnier about this is that if you look at little smoke body there's a half eaten burger near his face and if you loot his body he has alot of food and one soda in reference to big smoke huge order he made.
To be fair gta started the beef by making fun of the driver games in gta 3 driver just took a shot back and vice versa
I feel like the ghostrunner one is actually an MGS:PP reference. Since the dead dude had a mechanical arm like Solid Snake and the chicken head being a thing.

About a previous video about gun trigger regulation! Palworld also has it! I was playing with my brother and noticed that even with the grappling hook, the player shows proper trigger discipline!
Im not sure if you have already covered these ones but if you go on the "outback" map in rainbow 6 siege and spawn at the fuel pumps, walk to the right there is a tree outside of the map if you shoot at it there are rabbids in it and if you go in the map "villa" if you go in the rooftop with a high magnified scope (i suggest kali) you can see ezio on a ledge. Also on a fountain you can see the assassin's creed logo and in the map "sky scraper" you can see it on samurai armor.

In the final level of "Eat Lead: Return of Matt Hazard", they take a shot at Duke Nukem in a cutscene.

The Duke Nukem easter egg in Serious Sam 2 actually goes further from that. One of the cutscenes shows two Sirian guys talking. The skinny one deems Sam as the one to be able to defeat Mental, only to be scoffed by the fat one, saying that the skinny one already deemed a certain blondie as the one a few years ago and then tells him about his fate. Skinny then tells fatty that the blondie took FOREVER to even try and that Sam is different.
You can also find a Deagle next to Freeman called Big Ben, ichi is. reference to Gabe Newell!

In Sifu (A game by Sloclap), you can unlock a Focus Attack called "Calbot." (A Focus Attack is an attack that costs "focus" from the blue bar on the bottom left of the screen.) Not sure if it's been covered yet, but In Multiversus, Joker's crouch animation has him shuffle his cards. This directly effects his Dirty Dealer! Move. The box with ♡◇♤ in it changes the longer he crouches.
Idk if you’ve already covered this but at the end of the credits in Doom 2016 it shows something familiar in the franchise
