I need a load more planters, but we built two long ones this year, for all my tomatoes/veg and the cost (including compost) was not funny. So I'll wait for next year. Good harvest nice planter! My harvest was great also and drying in shade covered GH. It’s warm, but airy. It hit 100*F today in Wisconsin, US. At 9am it was 94. Heading for a cool down next few days. It’s a hot one and shade fabric is my friend, but the drought has made the hose an enemy😂. I have 2 large gardens🙄. I need to get a cable system in place that I can pull shade fabric easily to cover when needed. That and drip irrigation are on wish list.😁
Holy moly we better get rain tonight and tomorrow as trees are dying. We may get half to 1 inch, big whoop But we’ll take it. We are 8” down on precip.
I got those Frost petunia seeds when I seen yours and grew them- They are fantastic! I like the double pink cascades and Wave petunias also. Doubles look like carnations. If I could only beat the wildlife at their games. The deer ate all the Lilly flowers with such a delicate touch and left a sedum on the bird bath as calling card. I didn’t notice right away till I looked closer. It’s a bit difficult to cover things in bird netting where the bird baths are. It’s been a struggle and I think I can still hold out to get some crops. Not too pretty to look at all the plants through barricades-it’s really a site.🙄

Strawberries…I keep dreaming about them. I haven’t been able to find a great spot in my regular garden (tree shade, little creatures, etc).
I might be getting one of those t-shirts. I have to say that I am not bothered as much by insects after spending so much time playing in their homes.
