All this said, as bad as people like Cena and Triple H have been at backstage politicking. I’d take them over people like Ultimate Warrior, Late 90’s HBK or Creative Contract Hogan.
Of course Cena was making a ton of political moves backstage, but it was easy for him since he's a bodybuilder/powerlifter, and that's what Vince loves. (Vince literally had a protein product deal and bodybuilding pay per view). Cena was one of Vince's boys so he pushed him to the moon, and if Cena didn't like someone you KNOW he was going to let Vince know, and that person was going to get buried. The situation between Cena and Alex Riley is a strange one, but I bet it was due to Cena seeing Riley as a threat and possibly taking his spot...maaaaaaybe.
During his prime as the top guy, Cena was like Hulk Hogan minus the racism. Also, he was pretentious and entitled like LeBron James minus the flopping.

It wasn't just John and Randy who didn't like Mr Kennedy even Undertaker didn't like him.
People praise Cena whole career right now but he just like the top superstars in the company were just assholes who used their power to their own benefits. Glad now he acknowledges his mistakes and admits he was wrong numerous time but still. The only top superstar i know that dont have all this backstage drama and people disliking him is Roman reigns. Almost all of his stories are people prasing him or him prasing other wrestlers
That's because Joe Anoai is a genuinely good person.
Cena on the other hand is a corporate media *ss kisser who will do and say Anything for Approval and a Check.
Look at the whole China situation. Him in Hollywood running around in a damn dress and makeup. Him streaking naked on a worldwide Award show and then wrapping himself up in a CURTAIN to walk the Red Carpet event 🙄🤦♂️.
People speak extremely highly of Roman Backstage, that he is big on making sure people feel welcomed
Roman seems like one of those guys who you want backstage to be in charge
Mr Kennedy imo was the precursor to Eli Drake /LA Knight. In a way he is 2020's version but WWE is hopefully going to one day make him a world champion instead of just a mid card champ
Randy was like that to Kennedy
I don’t think John Cena ever hated the rock. I just wanted a match with him.
As a die hard John Cena fan there are times when he would go at certain wrestlers but he is a human being at the end of the day when he had his moments in the business. John Cena will always my hero no matter what and he got me to watch wrestling when I was a kid. John Cena is also the greatest wrestler of all time in my opinion. I will miss him when he goes on his farewell tour in 2025 of next year and I will be very emotional just by watching his matches and to win his 17th world championship to break Ric Flair in which will be a dream come true for me.
As a die hard fan how do you expect us to take anything you say serious you basically said your a cena glazer
I am not a Cena glazer at all bro and he makes a lot of mistakes all the time in the locker room all the time with the wrestlers he had issues with in the locker room and you should be grateful that he will be retiring next year on his farewell tour instead of arguing with me about nothing.
@@davidojo-osagie1539 being a die hard fan is you admitting you a glazer and that’s fine if you gonna chose someone to glaze cena a good choice. Hopefully he doesn’t break ric flairs record he don’t deserve to as highlighted in this video
I’ll never be fully comfortable with screwing people over when politicking backstage, I’m fine with getting yourself over or saying you should win matches. But not big on lobbying to fire people.
All this said, as bad as people like Cena and Triple H have been at backstage politicking.
I’d take them over people like Ultimate Warrior, Late 90’s HBK or Creative Contract Hogan.
Who did hogan bury? And warrior?
It’s a business. If you want to stay on top you have to eliminate the competition and that’s exactly what he did.
I respect him hating ryback and Jack swagger 😂
Kenny works backstage now
Lots of guys came back when Vince started to leave
@@gamempire96 he came back while Vince was working there
i fux with dub and ross more than some of my blood relatives
I always wondered what happened with Riley. Had a good look, he was good in the ring, charismatic... Had a good chance wt making it if not for Cena.
Being a backstage manipulator throwing his weight around would’ve been a great heel character for Cena lol
During his prime as the top guy, Cena was like Hulk Hogan minus the racism. Also, he was pretentious and entitled like LeBron James minus the flopping.
We all heard it before dolph, etc smh it’s sad to see nexus and others on the list to … smh
Man at the end of this video….cena still the GOAT in my eyes😂😂
Facts
It's a business of egos most of the greats did things to stay on top coach said it best every body was selfish
Oh Kenny dykstra as well
Cena didint get the outcome of the nexus match changed it was Vince, edge cena and Chris wanted them to win but Vince wanted team cena to win, I don't think that dude knows it all
Now I am a fan of Cena, but just because I'm a fan of him doesn't mean he gets a pass for being a douchebag (in fact, no celebrity gets a pass for being a douche in my opinion). With that being said, if he did something illegal to Alex Riley, then he needs to be fired, blacklisted and sent to prison.
You gotta wonder if the fact that WWE has so many stars with uninterrupted pushes now means that this BS has been seriously curtailed.
Definitely not with hhh and hbk running creative
John Cena is Hulk Hogan minus the naughty tape and race tirade
Let's all be honest, we all laughed when Ryback popped up. The man is about as delusional as it gets and was never that good. There's a GOOD reason why nobody wants to hire him.
Real talk...F%#k Cryback!!! Word Life!!! 😂
Remember when Cena claimed he had no backstage power to change things? How stupid does he think people are? lol
I remember when a rock and Sina was in a few. The rock put out of RUclips video, basically calling Cena out for being a toothpaste phony because he tried to do the exact same thing. I ronically enough Cena is doing exactly what The Rock has been doing for slmost a decade.
That's why he shouldn't break RF's record. He has done a lot of stuff bebind the window.
Most of Riic Flairs reigns were outside of the WWE so they need to wipe their slate clean from him with Cena then have Orton tie him
That thumbnail is when you caught your parents doing something PG in the bedroom

Who did Reigns hurt or bury?
He's the ONLY Top Guy who his coworkers praise as being a FAIR and Cool Locker room leader.

I beleive some of these as John has come out and said it. But some of these sound like reaches. Yeah he had them move brands but its not their fault they couldn't make it. Kenny was never gonna be an AJ Styles or Daniel Bryan or Chris masters. He had the masterlock and thats it.
Cena had a full career in WWE. He left in his late 30's, around the time athletes retire.. He didn't leave in his prime like The Rock did. The Rock straight up used WWE as a stepping stone for Hollywood, Cena did not..
The Rock deserves no criticism for using WWE as a stepping stone, there's nothing wrong with that, but calling Cena a hypocrite is bullshit when it's 2 completely different scenarios.
Tbh a lot of guys tried with using wwe as a stepping stone to go off to Hollywood and be a big movie star and it ain’t work lol.
