Title should had been - Confident, Skillful & Unmatched driving temperament... can't compare a Sardarji behind the wheels with any others. They respect whatever work they do - you can see from his attire. Most safe drivers - early decades Kolkata used to have most Sardarji taxi drivers especially from Bhawanipur area... that's why the Gurudwara there is mostly crowded with people during any festival.

Normal speed on these Highways. Highways Roads designed for 100 km speed. Expressways designed for 120 km speed. That's why they have multi lines. Maintain lane, follow lane rules no rash sudden overtaking without seeing the wing mirror for road clearance and vehicles approaching behind. Use lane indicators before changing lane intimating drivers behind.

It must've have had a major body work done after a crash. Only reason for the misalignment on a Volvo bus. Not surprised.
This is the second scary video that I have seen of a bus being driven on a highway in India. Those highways in India have nearly everything moving on them, I noticed in the video walking pedestrians, bicycle riders, slow motor scooters, rickshaws, slower cars and slower trucks. Along with all this is the bus driver going faster than everyone else, continually changing lines, blowing the horn and passing up nearly everyone, and having occasional close calls. In the United States if a person drove like this on a highway, they would get pulled over by the highway patrol.

The people praising him seem to have no idea about safe driving. He wasn’t even holding the steering wheel properly! They don’t seem aware that the rate of death from vehicles far, far out ways the wait in other countries. He’d be stopped by police, other people calling in or seen on the people who monitor the motorway cameras. I’m surprised he hasn’t killed anyone yet. The constant horn is just silly, so much so if he had a tyre blowout or maybe an animal ran out he’d not be able to control the bus, all for the sake of obsessively hitting the horn.

In the uk 1 person dies from or is seriously injured every 22 minutes. Raj…note that includes serious injuries not just deaths. The Indian rate of one every 4 minutes is just death, it doesn’t include serious injuries or it would have been much higher. As an Indian I accept that 90% of Indians don't follow the lanes and watch in side glass.
That's why we use to honk everytime to aware them that we are passing and don't you dare to mess up.
As compare to other countries India has 10 % rate of Great Drivers.
I am also driving truck at normal speed of 90km/h in Dubai and I don't find any problem here with other shit drivers.

Agreed. Honking is so important here. I too was in Dubai for so long. Have lived a life there and enjoyed to drive. But here, few people actually know how to drive. Population and congestion on roads is different but if people knew how to drive it would be much smoother but sadly everybody just wants to go first. And you just cannot overtake without honking cause you never know when that person would just turn all of a sudden.

I drove for greyhound for over 30yrs I've drive GMC buffalo mc 5 7 8 9 12 eagle 5 10 and 15 and every now and then we get one that the governor wasn't set but I knew of very few drivers that would run these buses like a nascar event your dealing with human lives it's not a contest we were taught to use our superior judgement so that not to have always use our superior driving skills man this is insane

Such confidence comes by driving hundreds of kilometers everyday on same roads. These bus drivers are highly skilled. We cannot make any comment on them by talking about safety and luck. We dont have 'that' expertise. I have a driving experience of almost 30 years but I drive my car. I know my skill sets but these drivers are super highly skilled. I admire their driving.

I don't agree with the title though.. If you see the the speedo it is probable doing 80km/hr - 100km/hr..which is what most buses and private vehicles do on Highway.. So I don't think this is reckless driving.. On the contrary he is in absolute control of the vehicle.. It gets scary for the passengers because of the huge glass windshield.. Actualy driving such a big vehicle at such a high speed is due to the today's advance automobile technology which give such drivers easy manoueverability bcoz of light and quick response steering system and powerful braking and feather like suspension.and also due to strict loading capacity of HMV.And yes He is confident and his reflexes are good..👍

The driver is actually Highway Cruising he's honking continuously so that people are alert and do not change lanes while he overtakes.
