When applying hair color 👉🏽 Do not let hair get wet for the first 24 - 72 hours after coloring. This will give the color a chance to set. This is what I have found to work for me. So my box came with 2 powdered bottles. Both say, permanent hair powder but they are different numbers 46 & 56 which I'm guessing is different colors? Am I suppose to mix them together or no? The instructions dont say to mix the 2 bottles but says, mix hair powder with water. So I'm at a loss. What's your opinions?
I like it. Been using it now for about 6 months BUT, my grey always comes back with a vengeance. I wish It would last longer. I have to color every 3 weeks. I need to buy some stock in the company.
@ mz.j3339 The reason why your edges start to show is because your hair is growing at the roots. If you have grey hair, of course the grow will be gray. Any hairdye will color the hair that’s grown out of the hair follicle. Hair that’s still in the follicle can not be colored, because it did not grow out as yet. Bigen is the only permanent color that does not fade. If you have dark colored hair there will be a big contrast with the new grey growout. That’s the annoying part of hair coloring.

I wanted to add more water to make it more but didn't think it was a good idea since she had a lot gray

This particular one is not safe to use on mustache, eye brows, or eye lashes. Only for hair on the top of your head. They make one specifically for mustache. You can go to there website to find it.

That's what I did and it worked fine. First the solution was too thick, so I doubled the water, stirred well, then applied. Still covered my hair well.
Angel Waters The full bottle would be add powder to your plastic container, then fill completely with water. It will likely overflow, so I mix 1 bottle with 1 full container (about 1/4 cup of water) in a plastic, non-metallic bowl. Hope this helps!

This dye does not have any peroxide, no bleach, no amonnia. Dark hair MUST be lifted (lightened) and all DIY box hair colors (like L'Oreal, Revelon, Garnier, etc. have the developer (lightening/lifting agent already in it. Bigen does not! It works on gray hair or lighter hair. Sorry the packaging does not explain this. If you are trying to go from black or dark hair to any other lighter shade, best to go to a professional salon.
Most colors of Bigen I've tried makes my gray hair turn BLACK..with the exception of 04 Chestnut which made my hair an ugly bright orange-red color. So disappointed! ☹️
Yes, you can. Just make sure to follow the instructions and take care to not get the dye all over everything. It is permanent and will stain counters, sinks, skin, clothes. Make sure to cover the area you are working in. It is really easy to use. Good luck 👍🏽

Anyone with dark hair going lighter ALWAYS has to be use something to lift a natural darker color out before using a lighter color. Bigen does not have this product in its line of products. So, it seems that Bigen is good to restore a true natural color( like if you are naturally light brown going gray and want to put your natural color back). Otherwise, you have to use something thing that takes your color out so that a lighter color will show up, just like any other hair color. Those products I would assume can be used before Bigen, but after you lift your own color, the hair will still have to be dry to take the Bigen dye. Bigen gives permanent color with no ammonia or peroxide, so be mindful that a color lifter may do the very chemical damage you are trying to avoid by using Bigen which is water based.
this is for everybody. Biden colors all hair types and it's permanent. I colored my hair with box color and it was horrid. I used Bigen the next day and my hair was cured!
Semi- permanent goes on wet hair because it does not penetrate the bald shaft like permanent, but rather goes on and "shrink wraps" around the hair shaft like a coating so, going on wet, coating the hair and rinse g then drying sets semi on the hair. One hair professional told me to use a hand dryer with semi to get the coating to cling to the hair better.

I’ve had the same problem it’s not that long lasting my greys start showing in about 5 days and become visible to others in about a week

Yes, there's instruction inside.. mix only what you need. That's what my mother used.
Same thing with touching up roots. Just mix a small amount with water for touch ups.

The only hairs that will look chocolate brown are the light colored or grey hairs. The black portion of your hair will still look black.

To prevent scslp irritation. Some people can do it after shampooing and it doesn't bother them but for others it might itch or sting a little.
