There was some cool stuff in there : Cortina cop car, Mustang Cobra, MFP Capri, Triplex Transit, the Cossies. Most of it just looked - and sounded - like the queue out of Halfords into McDonalds though.

Not you, it's stupid. Only because it's 100% manufactured by software on modern (non carbureted) cars. There is no need for it, and it detracts from car culture. The equivalent would be amplifying an electric cars "fake engine noise" through external speakers at volumes that hurt people's ears.... It's fake and un necessary.
