I saw a man underneath a broken-down, large Bedford truck while working in Bangladesh on business. He had lowered what appeared to be a huge transfer case using nothing but scrounged up scrap pieces of wood, tree branches, etc. The transfer case was split with most internal parts removed. Wearing nothing but flip-flops and a loin cloth; in 90F heat/90+ humidity; he was in the process of taking a coarse file to a large gear. This man used whatever was available and had the determination to affect the repair. His family doesn't eat if his truck is not working. I was humbled right then and there. Ultimate respect!
Solo le falta una buena pintura para detener un poco esa oxidación que contribuyó a debilitar el chasis, ¿Si lo pintaron? Me pone nervioso no saber lo que pasó.
Shouldn't the welder just be able to run a continuous bead I'd think stopping and starting weld would make it weak . Alway saw pipe welders run continues welds on gas lines
Perhaps they are very skilled. Also experienced. But what the f...ck? They don't reinforce anything, just cut off where the crack is and then weld in some steel without crack. It won't hold on for long. At least I would add another flat bar on the bottom of the frame. But no, no need for that. Probably just breaks near the welds due material overheating. Total waste of time. Or maybe they just like to cut and weld over and over again. You don't cut the branch that you're sitting on.

Love you guys, great work as always. May you all stay safe and healthy. Best wishes from Germany. 😊
Lighting his cigarette in the molten metal, boss move right there 👍😂
That's not a good idea! 😂
@pakistanitruck oh yaar bas kaar! 😂
Drilling the end of the crack would make the repair more permanent!
Μπράβο σας παππού!!! Να μαθαίνουν τα παιδιά. Χαιρετισμούς! Πέτρος.
Gotta love the safety sandles
They even managed to break a triple frame by overloading. Might need a quad frame, but they'd probably break that too
Do they load more or less cement on that truck after the repairs?
They will load more on it probably
We dont need no stinkin weight limit, much respect to the men!
Yes
Well they have to pay for the repairs and downtime somehow!
С праздником вас всех поздравляю желаю здоровья
Респект и уважение,на коленке,,пули,,делают.👍👍👍👍👍
I wonder how many times he got flash burns!? 😮

Triple frame rails and they’re still breaking them.
The steel isn’t all that strong to begin with.
I know it's a different world over there but the lack of safety glasses when grinding or tinted glasses when burning makes me wonder.
Seriously. With closed toed shoes, some ear and eye pro, none of what they would be doing is all that controversial.
