A human stands no chance in a fight against most animals. Also the new evidence shows that human brain expansion happened from learning to cook root vegetables.and not from consuming meat. You do not need meat to survive. Farming animals is destroying the environment, and if you were even slightly educated on the topic you'd admit that is true. Anyone educated has to say i eat meat and I do not care whether we leave a habitable planet for future generations of humans.
That’s the only real argument you can give? So what if mankind has been eating animals since the beginning? The argument here is that the duration that a practice has been practiced offers some kind of justification for its morality and continuation. Can you think of any other human practices that have been practiced for a very long time that is nevertheless considered immoral? Slavery has also been practiced since the beginning of human civilization. Is slavery justified and moral because it has been an integral component of human societies since the beginning of human civilization?
_”Killing animals, especially predatory animals and invasive species, is necessary.”_ How is this relevant to the morality of breeding animals into existence in order to prey on them ourselves? Do you think the cows, pigs, chickens, lamb, etc. are invasive predators? Even if your argument was true, it wouldn’t even apply to the animals humans regularly consume for food. In fact, humans are the most predatory and invasive species in the *entire history of earth.* No species has ever preyed on as much animals and caused as much destruction to habitats and ecosystems than the species Homo sapien. So I sure hope your argument isn’t true, because if it was, a consistent logical application of this argument would imply that killing members of the species homo sapien is necessary and justified.
_”I am a human, so I value human life over any other life on Earth.”_ Why is the membership of your species relevant to whether or not an entity deserves moral concern? The reasoning here is no different to a racist saying something like “I am white, so I value white people over any other life on Earth. You can dislike that statement, but it will remain a fact of mankind.” The race membership of a person is morally irrelevant, and so is species. To place greater weight on the interests of your species merely because they are members of the same species is analogous reasoning to racism and sexism. This is discrimination and prejudice on the grounds of species, which is called _speciesism._ If you wish to make a real moral argument, you’re best avoiding making appeals to group membership to justify treating a particular group differently. Historically, a similar argument has been used to justify other cruel and discriminatory practices. The pattern today is the same, just with different victims. To place any moral weight on the outward characteristics of a being as opposed to their abilities to suffer and have interests, is absurd.
Yes, plants are alive in the *biological* sense. But it is very unlikely that they are alive in the *conscious* sense- that is to say, they aren’t alive in the way that is morally relevant. Plants are incredible, indeed, they are intelligent and react to stimuli, but this does not indicate that they are beings acting consciously. A brain indicates good evidence of a conscious subject and sensory experience, a central nervous system and pain receptors indicate a mechanism to communicate bodily damage to the brain as sensory information. All of these biological markers are lacking in plants, making them unlikely to have any kind of subjective experience of the world. But even if plants were conscious and could suffer, it is still the case that the animals you eat had to be fed plants over the course of their lives. 80% of all the crops grown globally are fed to livestock, and even if we look at a paper authored by the livestock development officer at the FAO, it concludes that on average, it requires 3kg of human edible crop feed to produce 1kg of meat (the number would be even higher if we factor in human-inedible plant material). So assuming that plants are morally valuable entities, growing plants and eating them directly instead of growing plants to feed tens of billions of animals to then kill and eat the animals actually _reduces_ the amount of harm done to plants anyway.

Joey never goes into the enzymes argument probably because he doesn't know, it takes longer for our bodies to digest meat because our bodies are not properly designed to consume processed meat(this is a fact look into how long it takes), if someone is eating meat everyday the enzymes are being depleted, when a persons enzymes are really low or totally depleted it causes them to age much faster/die sooner and for them not to be able to fight off issues they may have in there body, that's why you get so many long term meat eaters with what is know as poor face (not a medical term lol) Joey needs to go a bit deeper with it, look into Lou Corona at 72 years old and compare him to people on the keto diet at 72, WORLDS APART, meat eaters age much faster

Humans eat meat.. We are omnivores. The healthiest diet on earth is a healthy diet with superfood meats in it like turkey, beef in moderation, chicken, salmon, cod, talapia etc etc. You won't go to the bear and tell it that deers are sentient beings and no we aren't bears we are humans so we are smarter and found other ways to eat. Plant protein is shocking compared to meat protein. My child eats almost nothing that is processed. If I gave him vegan diet I would have to give him ultra processed foods to survive because a vegan diet is sub par. If people want to be weak souls that doesn't understand natural way of things then do what you want, munch grass, but please don't abuse your children by giving them a sub par diet, it's abuse in my opinion. That's not only a shocking vegan diet but stop giving your kids ultra processed foods. MEAT WILL NEVER GO AWAY😁🤌
What’s a weird ramble. Nothing you’ve said is consistent with reality. Ancestors ate meat at far less amounts than what modern day meat intake is. I don’t see how using what they ate is somehow a justification to do it ourselves. Yeah no shit we wouldn’t tell wild animals to be vegan, they’re wild animals with no moral agency. Why would you base your morals off what wild animals do? Do you also shit in the woods because a bear does that? “The healthiest diet on earth” what a load of unsubstantiated nonsense lmao we constantly see better health outcomes and better longevity in populations that consume far more plant foods than animal based. Not to mention we have actual health outcomes data that shows replacing animal based protein with plant based protein reduces risk of all cause mortality and disease. How is it child abuse to feed a child a diet where all their nutritional needs are met? You can get every essential nutrient on a plant based diet. Your appeal to nature fallacies have no substance when confronted with the facts, hope this helps!

Humans eat meat and we are omnivores, the classification is based on dietary behavior not a biological necessity. We have no anatomical features to consume meat, if you take a look at human canines teeth, ours are leveled up with incisors. Even Gorillas who have big canines, they eat mostly plants. You know pandas eat bamboos they are called herbivores but their body is like bear close to carnivores. Just because we are omnivores doesn't mean we have to eat meat. Just because we CAN doesn't mean we SHOULD kill somebody. The healthiest diet on earth is majorly plants, look at Blue Zone people their diet consist of 99% plant calories, they live past the reproductive age and are longest living people with little or no chronic illness. Animals are not moral agents. Humans are and should be accountable for their actions. Early humans had to eat animals only for survival and now it is not necessary. Whole food vegan diet is little to no processed, what do you mean by process, do you think cutting a vegetable is processed? Protecting someone isn't weak, bullying someone is mentally weak behavior. You don't care about animal abuse? Why you are stopping people who are telling others not to murder animals?
"you won't go to the bear..." ,, why are you bringing this up then to say "no we aren't bears" 😂😂😂 delusional just so you can continue murdering. there is nothing subpar about vegan diet. just like any diet, if you don't get what your body needs you'll have issues. by your logic, because you kill animals, you are stronger than every vegan? do you really believe this or are you brainwashed by meat and dairy industry propaganda? or just too lazy to stop killing innocent creatures?

Thanks!🌱
I went vegan a couple years ago and it changed my life in such a positive way. I want to marry Joey and divorce my husband Aaron Loos! 👰
😂😂😂😂
Brilliant Outreach. All the excuses in the book. I thought that was an interesting point Joey made about people making excuses actually know what they are doing is wrong, whereas the people that walk by don't care. It's a fair point. I also think a lot of people walk by do care to but just don't want to face it
Again, thank you Joey!🌈
Great conversation 🌱
Joey never goes into the enzymes argument probably because he doesn't know, it takes longer for our bodies to digest meat because our bodies are not properly designed to consume processed meat(this is a fact look into how long it takes), if someone is eating meat everyday the enzymes are being depleted, when a persons enzymes are really low or totally depleted it causes them to age much faster/die sooner and for them not to be able to fight off issues they may have in there body, that's why you get so many long term meat eaters with what is know as poor face
(not a medical term lol) Joey needs to go a bit deeper with it, look into Lou Corona at 72 years old and compare him to people on the keto diet at 72, WORLDS APART, meat eaters age much faster
Thanks for this awesome video Joey!
I like how Joey can speak to youth so well.
And yet he fails 😆😆😆🤣🤣🤣
He’s very good at talking to young boys. He knows he has to be somewhat tough with them for them to respect your opinion.
Why joey so aggressive. I swear every video he gets more and more aggressive. He shouldn’t be talking to kids like that either imo

Nice conversation with those young boys! I can see at least one of them was really really listening and thinking hard
You can even eat a vegan burger every day if you want for only $1.50 a day. Just get them in bulk. I buy 20 frozen beyond burgers each month. I haven’t bought beef in a long time but I’m pretty sure it’s not that much more expensive at this point
I grew up vegan and am on alkaline diet now most of those pretend burgers are crap if im honest, , soya has estrogen in it and caused me to have lumps under my nipples when I was younger, dont go anywhere near it now

What I want to know, Joey, is how do you not get too upset when going into slaughterhouses, factory farms, seeing animals outside slaughterhouses, etc? I understand that getting upset wouldn’t help the animals and they need you to be there, exposing the cruelty, and that, as an activist, you need to be emotionally tough, but I still think it would upset me, possibly… That being said, in another way, it must be a great experience to get to see and interact with these animals and help them by doing activism and exposing the cruelty…
Joey, I love your videos, but I don’t think we are going to get younger people to join our cause or watch your videos if you title them with “youngsters”. A younger generation needs older leaders to show them what is possible and how it’s achievable and not to be shamed into understanding the truth by trying to win a debate against them
The protein conspiracy theory has been very well thought out and spread so well.
Love how you can speak strongly to these arrogant young men (kids) in a way that made them listen and reflect. They would have intimated me!

Eating animals is the right thing to do as it says so in the bible
Enslaving humans is the right thing to do, as it says so in the Bible. The Bible is a terrible guide for morality in the 21st century, leave this dogma in the Bronze Age. You’re forfeiting your own intellectual autonomy just because an old book says something else.

Your appeal to nature fallacies have no substance when confronted with the facts, hope this helps!
hahaha more excuses. if you don't care about animals why you troll vegan pages, you think you know better about nutrition than the largest group of nutritionist in the world that called the dunning kruger effect. you are pathetic, please provide evidence, i know you don't have any because science is not on your side.
what is a soul? you believe in a sky wizard too lol
