After Seeing Rhino transition from interviewing college students to some high schoolers is an eye-opener. Especially since I'm in high school right now. And this was an accurate representation of what HS is like, it makes me look forward to college for sure.

in freshman year of hs i went to a huge school where everyone was as you said: "blank canvases". I'm now a junior and I go to a school much much smaller and the difference is amazing. the opportunity to be in a clique doesn't really exist so in turn everyone is honestly their own person. as well, living in a very very populated city doesn't put a blocker on social life- truly a win-win.

at my high school i'm not popular at all because I have social anxiety but I know a quite few of them and they're all really nice once you get to know them, but honestly it's more that the girls are nice the "popular boys" always think they're ahead of everybody else. (usually the ones who were made fun of in middle or elementary school are the obnoxious ones)
I had social anxiety in high school as well, never fitted in. People are definitely way more immature in high school, because everyone is still trying to figure out who they are. Most of everyone is confused with their identity. I always knew I didn’t belong, I never talked that much, didn’t have many friends, always felt alone. But going through this changed my perspective a lot on myself. I now have a more clear understanding of who I am and what I want to work towards. Everyone grows up eventually, just be patient with your growth.
