Don't worry too much about memory loss...I'm 51 and I forget things often. I think it's just an age thing. Trauma and anxiety can often make you forget stuff too. Enjoyed your video - thanks for doing a second part.

I am watching from The Bahamas. Your story is AMAZING! I am not JW and have never been but I often wonder how different my life would have been if I had not turned down my first love because he was not a part of my religious organization. While I am not an atheist, i admit that "religion" is a part of many bad decisions I made in my life.

I remember the cold service times . I have a strong memory of someone telling off the person taking me on service Christmas Day . I was around 10 . It felt awful seeing , hearing people celebrate . The cardboard from toys in their gardens and the lovely smell of dinners cooking . It was cruel .

It is so difficult to explain what it is like to be one of JW it effect s every aspect of your life , the indoctrination so deep and all consuming you become entrenched in a culture of fear guilt and obligation, FOG literally. The internet and personal testimony like yours is helping those wanting to leave to overcome that real fear that they instill about the Internet and world beyond helping them to break free from the emotional mind control. I tell people all the time, 'do you believe in a god or gods?'; and, if the answer is no, then I tell them they are an atheist and not to be afraid of the word or what it suggests to people.
