It does. But you have to make the conscious effort to ALLOW it to inspire you. You actually have to make a true effort to actively remind yourself that all these successful artists are just regular average geeks and nerds just like you that were stubborn enough to keep practicing and putting themselves out there. If you scroll low enough under ALL these guys platforms and social medias you'll see a lot of them used to suck pretty hard 3-5 years ago. Yeah some folks are just blessed by the algorithm, but one thing they ALL have in common is they sat on their asses for hours everyday drawing badly. And if you're doing that, well... You might not be this successful but at the end of the day, no one can say you didn't at least try. And I'm willing to be ok with that.
Hey Whyt! Your studio looks so awesome! Question: Will you be doing more writing tutorials for manga? Like how many characters should I have for my first arc or any story arc?
That’s up to you honestly, a good rule of thumb is do you need them to progress the story/what purpose do they serve and if you can progress the story without a certain character
@@winter-jager yeah, from as small as background characters and redshirt characters to Side characters and main characters. They all serve some sort of purpose
Been here for a while And I find it amusing how busy he has become and it's interesting that transition from fan to creator and in a way shedding that fan pov
This was great to see! Thanks for uploading it. And it was really cool to hear you talk about. Hearing how you’ve worked in the past was real interesting too!
I always tell myself, work with what you got and if I really need something that's making drawing a single line impossible, then I'll invest in that. Otherwise I got everything, just need to practice! Awesome video, love the adjustable desk and your pen holder haha
You know I really do look up to Whyt Manga, his type of art style really stands out to me. Later in the future I am making a really action packed animation show. It will be 2d animation, manga/western style. Overall it’s pretty much that same style as Whyt Manga but gonna change some things as well. I am really glad you made a RUclips channel and grateful to ever found you. Thank you for inspiring me and others and I hope good things come to you. Apple black, hopefully, gets the attention it deserves .
The most important aspect of a studio set up is ergonomics. If you want a long future in digital art make sure you pay attention to how your body is positioned relative to your tools.
i use a old wacom intuos 3 i got for 10 bucks and a old version of manga studio and its working for me pretty well, your right about the artist is what makes a manga look good not the tools. Your studio looks awesome though i'll definitely upgrade in the future! :)
I never had any space to draw or study either, I worked at the dining table for years because I shared a room with my younger brother, or I simply didn't have a room anymore and had to sleep on the living room floor. I used the ipad for years as my main tool, even when freelancers started. I gradually organized my computer and bought a desk to put in the corner of the living room - it was very small, but it was better than the kitchen. Fortunately, this year I was able to move out thanks to commissions and now I've rented a small house and adopted a dog. And I'm putting everything together little by little. My living room is divided into a living room and the other half is an office space and I'm very happy with that. I hope to be able to have a house of my own with a space dedicated to my work and passion, which is art! But it's always important to know that someone you admire has gone through the same thing. Success!
I just moved my desk from the living room into a spare room with our cr*p everywhere 👍 That will be my workspace for my published comic. I mean...I'll try add more, but got my screen tablet, laptop with clipstudio ex...supplies in the drawer for traditional stuff...I can do this. Oh, and also about to have a baby (which is why I moved the desk - in a nesting frenzy) so.....hahahaha...yeah.
Planning to have one as soon as I can afford a place with two bedrooms! I have a studio apartment now with a small space in the corner for my desk, book. and art supplies, but need more space and a bigger desk.
love to see how far you've com dude, this workspace looks so siiiickkk from the day I watched that video of you teaching us "how to get that anime look" in our art, I was waiting for this come up yessir
The studio is of the highest class, I would go on an excursion to such a place from:D It would also be interesting to see where the manga artists write down their ideas and, in general, the topic about plots, but maybe I missed these moments on the channel And an excellent channel, more of these, I wish you success in all your work! I'll have to do it too
Check out the video "Witch Hat Atelier: Visual storytelling through manga panelling" by the channel called *lines* *in* *motion* . If you haven't already seen this or heard of the manga, it's worth checking out. For anyone trying to improve with there storytelling presentation, this manga/the video has a lot to offer in advice. It doesn't really seem like my type of story, but the visuals are quite stunning. Definitely opened my mind up to the way panels can be arranged to help a story flow better. Probably a random suggestion on this completely unrelated video... but either way!
Dude you are an inspiration really….my dream is to become an animator and create my own anime and manga as well….sadly I am broke, I can’t buy the equipment to start, also the lack of time since I spent 12 hours goin from and to work each day, the death of my young brother 3 weeks ago…all these make it harder for me to start, (what is the big tablet that you are using that was next to the iPad) I hope everyone can achieve what they want cuz desperation and depression are no jokes
for me personally i like to create a certain environment or vibe around me for when i make beats. i can definitely feel the difference vs when my room was hella plain.
Awesome studio whyt manga I like the set up that table is dope if you get ps5 you should customize it you should put Apple black and Saturday am characters on it
Hey ! I have the same tablet as you so and use CSP to, for info if you switch the MSP to tablet mode (you have it where you can adjust the brightness of the screen) the CSP app will be using all the space of the screen (removing the icons below) 👍 just thought I’d leave it there since i found out recently 🤝
Hey, i love your videos they are so informative yet not too over whelming. i love how straight forward you are, you give out that helps a large amount of people looking into this, i'm talking about your videos as a whole. i do have a question; How to you go from start to finish to creating manga, for instances do you create the character first and build the story around them, or do you have a story in mind, with the character etc does it take a few sketches to get the clothing etc? keep up the good work !! really appreciate the work you do an put into your videos thank you
Great video and super cool studio. What's your set up to draw digitally? I read the description but since I'm a noob I can't quite understand 😂. Could you do a video showing your set up more detailed? The tablet you use to draw and stuff. Would really appreciate it 👍
my wand would be my shoes. they can manipulate their mass and anything they touch based on the users will. i call them Sole. eg i can make myself lighter to flout and them increase my mass and free fall feet first. on the moment of impact with the target, Sole can increase their mass while in contact with them making them unable to move from under my foot
It’s so bewfullll 😍 For people like me it helps to have a lil designated area because I’m soooo easily distracted lol plus having art all around and everything at arms length makes it pretty easy to just sit and work
I drew manga in my kitchen...
i guess you can draw in any environment
Bro... that's deep
I mean with that you did more then I did, so who is to judge?
It ain’t about the location, just if it works
I have a question: Do you work in your mangá full time?
good video and thanks for sharing
"I have this plant...just because"
Kishimoto: *laughs in Ukki-kun*
Criminally underrated channel! Keep it up bro!
Appreciate it!
I totally agree with you, he deserve way more
Facts
Nearly at 500k. Not underrated, appreciated and growing is a better way to put it.
Seeing other people reach this kind of success makes it a bit overwhelming

With Cartoon Network talking about producing Anime. This would be a great opportunity to see your work get on the screen.
After years of being a subscriber, I am officially going to start Apple Black after this video, just for that intro alone
