The judge was OK with it!! This is how the racists start from small with microaggression, which is a subtle form of racial and cultural discrimination.
I agree that there is probably more to this story. Indian culture is pretty messed up. They are very stratified based on social status which leads them to believe they can treat others like garbage. A lot of immigrants I've witnessed out in public behave this way, treating those around them like they are nothing. I took some Indian customers out for lunch one day, and they made me drive around until they saw their first "black" person. The comments they made about "black" people were disgusting.
So, can we say anything hateful in the name of 'freedom of speech'? That means you are okay if someone says hateful things to your parents/children in the name of 'freedom of speech'. If your parents haven't taught you anything, let me teach you that spitting hateful words is wrong.
