Чавдар 11М4 / Chavdar 11M4 Bulgarian Retro Bus still in service in 2024

Още използван през 2024-та, срещам този Чавдар из улиците на Стара Загора често и реших да му направя видео. Машината е на минимум 30 години, моделът се счита за най-успешния на автобусен завод Чавдар-Ботевград.

The most successful model of the Chavdar Botevgrad (Bulgaria) bus plant. Based on the Kässbohrer Setra S120/150, the Chavdar 11M4 made its debut at the Plovdiv Fair with two buses assembled in Germany in 1972. The first units started to leave the factory in 1977. Between 250 and 300 of the model were produced annually until 1994. This one is still in service with the military as of 2024.
