MADNESS: Project Nexus is a third-person Run n' Gun-slash-Beat'Em Up filled with arcade-style action and button-mashing brutality. Train your custom Madness combatant for the endless trials of Arena Mode, building weapons from your own sick imagination to get through just one more wave of deranged assailants. Or, play through the core campaign as the antiheroes of the Madness universe and unearth the terrible secrets of Project Nexus itself.
MADNESS: Project Nexus challenges your use of immersive & tactical combat, on-your-feet decision making, environmental navigation, a massive selection of weapons, and a pretty heavy dose of comic blood and violence. You'll progress through the game by navigating between rooms and overworld stages, engaging baddies along the way (who become wiser and more tactical as you advance). Not everyone is cut out to survive; we think you may be the exception.
Can you overcome the hordes of gun-toting Agents, sword-brandishing assassins, and bullet-deflecting giants that Project Nexus throws in your path? Grab your trusty weapon and let's find out.
MADNESS: Project Nexus features:
Story Campaign: Take the reigns of the heroes of the Madness universe, and infiltrate heavily guarded installations, survive cultist-ridden tunnel networks, fight back against dynamite-wielding cannibal bandits, and dodge the grasp of armor-plated Mag Agents over three times your size. Play solo or locally with up to three other people (using Xbox-compatible controllers).
Arena Mode: Create your character from scratch, advance through specialized skill tiers, and build a unique Madness warrior who is equipped to take on wave after wave of never-ending badguys in several combat environments. Build your own custom weapons and outfit them with the latest technology to give yourself the edge you're going to need to pull through.

Remember, Clubbers like melee weapons, thuggers like to punch people, so give them fist improvement over weapons, gunners like guns, so keep them ammo topped up, and gymnast are just generally hard to kill, but they also treat all weapons as ranged weapons, also keep them topped up on things to throw in the grenade slot.

@@Pr1vateLime oh, and for the thugs give them one of the gloves you can get from the armors and weapons guy, they decrease melee stats but give unarmed buffs, also don't give gymnasts grenades, because as you can see grenades hurt everything
@@MichoElBicho Gloves also reduce Non-Auto rate of fire more so than melee speed, so thugs should stay clear from the guns you wanna give to your top gunmen/clubbers.
Gymnast’s motto: If I can hold it, I can just as easily *not* hold it at a high velocity.
I don't know if someone already told you, but you can play the helipad missions again for an infinite wave, they give a very nice amount of xp and money, and sometimes there are new enemies, but if you complete enough waves they start to repeat but harder

The Binary Sword is one of the few unique weapons that actually have multiple stages, as you saw here. Binary Sword breaks into Binary Shard, which breaks into a regular shard. There's also a couple of shock weapons, namely the Shock Sword and Shock Axe, that have the same behaviour, although those are a lot more underwhelming in comparison.
Dum Dum rounds are essentially the opposite of Armour Penetrating rounds - AP rounds do less damage but pierce armour, which DD rounds do the opposite. I'd advise against taking DD rounds into Hard Sell next time, given how much armour those guys are packing. Speaking of armour piercing, one melee weapon I'll always sing the praises of is the Fireaxe. Its stats aren't quite as good as the Binary Sword damage and durability wise, but its armour piercing stat is very useful against armoured enemies like those in Hard Sell. The Battleaxe does more damage, but it has a lot less durability than the Fireaxe.
Also, just to warn you in advance - in Murder Room's current waves, falling down the pits will remove one corpus block for your and your allies. However, if you ever play the infinite waves, be aware that there's added spinning blades in the pit that'll instantly kill whoever falls in, no matter how much health you've got left.
As a final thing, since I'm not sure you noticed - you can only equip one Implant at a time, so you replaced the Divergence Implant with the Nanorespirators.
Slaughter time also has a spinning blade pit opened up during endless waves, but i'm sure he'll never get to see them cause he doesn't go for endless waves at any time. Kind of a shame really, i wanted to see his reaction to the mag agents in Fast Track.

Also, you need like 36 strength to dual wield it (and the Dual Wield Skill)
if you want a high pierce weapon that has a lot of durability you can use the Light saber, 6 damage, 15 pierce and 300 durability it also helps that the light saber is considered a small weapon so you don't need high stats to dual wield
if you hold Q, it highlights whatever weapons are on the ground near your mouse, letting you see where you should go to scavenge without actually making the trip until youre sure (guns are green)

Great video as always, someone might have mentioned it but here we go.
Try to upgrade the terminal next to blackmarket, it'll let your crew reach higher level and having them at max level helps a lot.
For Hard Sell, tell your team to stay near the Safe, N51 loves pulling a fast one by sending in Commandos to destroy the big door to let their Overwatch sniping your team from the other room.
Bring weapons that explode such as grenade and zücker as they are useful to kill clumped enemies and to prevent Recons from unlocking the safe.
Bring lots of guns for Hard Sell, they'll help you and your teammate from being overwhelmed.
It's not embrassing to call for backup, hold enter after the wave started to call for backup.
Don't let them group up, try to check all sides and kill everyone there or else they'll outnumber you and you'll be busy handling other N51 while Recons unlock the safe safely.
For this one it's more recommended to get your teammate that weak at dodging stronger shields, N51 has good accuracy and most of them use guns.
Try grinding on easier arena with madness difficulty, sometimes some arena is just too hard if you are underleveled and you can lower the difficulty to check how the waves played out.
Here's what maxed out crews can do, melee can deflect bullets, gun has better accuracy and more ammo, unarmed can counter and block melee and also good at stunning people, and acrobatic has big tac-bar and capable of jumping over people's head.

For Hard Sell on MADNESS difficulty for me I just brought a full unarmored crew and used the guns the enemies dropped, same thing with tough difficulty.
u need to buy the stop sign and equip it to hanbo , and u have a mini tricky in the team

Should you ever see the Dozer E in the Blackmarket, get it ASAP. It's a shotgun, that fires shock rounds that's good for eating enemy's TAC-Bars and goes through opponents, it'll be very handy in Hard Sell, as well as everywhere else.

Heres' are some tips. If you want to know what each of the 10 different stats does hover over them with your mouse, it's very helpful if you have a specific build-in mind. If you want to get more tokens to buy more exclusive weapons or implants, You can replay older easier stages on infinite waves and there is a chance for a floating robot to spawn that when destroyed you get a token. You and your hiring can only equip one implant at a time so pick one that benefits you build the best. Also, look through the shop after completing stages you can unlock clothes that give helpful bonus effects like reducing entombment, increasing the amount of ammo you start with for each type of gun, and so much more you will be surprised with how many there are.
If you want to make your hirelings better give them hirelings better armor. For hiring with the fist icon, give them clothes that increase the damage and speed of their unarmed attacks like the ghi, headband, and the many different gloves. For hiring with the gun icon give them clothes that increase the number of magazines they start with for guns that way you won't need to constantly keep giving them new guns each wave. Clothes that have a bonus for handgun mags only increase it for pistols, Standard mags: are for SMGs, shotguns, and assault rifles. Heavy mags: are for sniper rifles, explosives, and laser weapons. And extra mags just gives you more mags for all guns. Usually have at least 20 points of armour for the body and 7 for the head, that is enough for you to beat the last stages of the game. lastly don't forget to upgrade the max level cap for hiring at the black market.

not entirely sure if you noticed this, but you can hold down enter to call in backup during waves. it says it just under the top right indicator of how many enemies there are and what wave youre on (not sure what it does, i think it calls in other teammates to replace the dead ones)
i dont know if someone already told you this but in the video when you equipped the other implant the one you had already it unequipped itself

BTW, fellow Noob player. Should I avoid taking skills in areas I don't care about as much, will I eventually run out of level up's? I am not sure if I should just take whatever skills I get first in order to level up faster or not. So far I just have the key skills at level 1 and sweet spot unlocked.
