So glad to see she broke from her toxic family, but a couple of things bothered me. She had a bit of a victim mentality. Just because they celebrate her brother's promotion to head surgeon how is that a slam on her? Shouldn't they celebrate? Also, her fame is based on just touching up someone else's work. Kind of like fan fiction of the painting world lol.
Now you have to remember one thing about the brothers even if they're bad they weren't born bad Peter then but don't hate them avoid them if they're toxic but remember they are a product of their parents just like you are they are a victim just like you are would they be who they are if it wasn't for Mommy and Daddy remember a chain of gold is still a chain
Her career is restored paintings? Her brother is a head surgeon. While her parents could have split up and dad attended her event and mom attended Jasper’s event she could’ve handled it differently. She admitted that she only restores paintings. And yes her parents were greedy, selfish and immature to kick her out of the family because she honored granny’s wishes. If her parents hadn’t treated her like trash maybe they would’ve gotten some of the green too.

I’m so glad her grandma left the inheritance to her.they deserve it for all their hardships they had. Their own family didn’t even worry about her.

I think the story was attempting to portray that it was always someone else that got the notice, not that she hadn't done anything.
