How does the poi draft system work? Each team pick number before game start or the number is random?

couple of loot buffs to POIs, solo drops, a bit higher drops and this system is good. It forces teams to be more well rounded in their comp/playstyle, no more crutching a POI, also no more griefing to make teams not qual.
It's a competitive BR, Good teams fight for their POI's, and earn it, you should be able to contest if you know you can kill the other squad. They might as well drop them with a loadout already. It's all RNG, every game is different, loot etc, that's what makes it a BR. You no longer have to be a good team to get a strong POI. But that's just my opinion.
If some POIs clearly have better loot and beacons then it's not RNG at all.
@@aSleepySpaceman It is RNG, you can land at the best POI, and come out with shitty loot. Beacons have the same chance at all POI's, they made that change last year. If a team feels there is better loot, then they should fight for it. It suppose to be competitive. Making this change takes that away, and some teams aren't good at flying, that's gone. Just give everyone their loadout.
@@soldiers360 by your logic, good teams should still be good. BRs are in general very RNG, The draft system will just add another element for competitive and force teams to learn variations of gameplay. I honestly think the change will benefit the scene in the long term
@@bradleyhenry2411 Good teams are going to be good, but removing skills like flying, learning how to fight off drop are gone now. So a bad team can just get god spot without having to do anything. For viewers, it's going to be boring, nothing happening to start the match off. And nobody in the pro league wants this, even the bad teams. I believe after this split it will be removed. Most of the teams know how to rotate from different POI's.

much bigger reliance in skill and gameplay with this random poi, it makes its more balanced and could actually be healthy for competiveness
