@@natmarelnam4871 it is a lie even since Elon realized they were pairing up with Microsoft. That's why he is going after them in court. As for how good the model is, that doesn't matter. Sam A. stated directly that the public can not have access to SORA.
It took over a year for enhance voice to go from beta into premiere (and what sort of masochist would use a premiere beta 😆). Generative fill took the same sort of time to make it to Photoshop, and after using Leonardo's live canvas it is painfully slow. Adobe are a juggernaut, I've learnt to moderate my expectations over the last 15 or so years of using their products. (Shit there's one bug I've been reporting for nearly 20 years lol)

They are doing their best to integrate AI that includes people. So we don't be afraid about upcoming job replacements and so on.. but I would like to have soda as a separate option so I can create complete videos and I'm not sure this is will be that.. it seems that it will be a power to down version with which you cannot create the whole movie by yourself

I think this is one of the better applications of so called A.I. to use.
Removing objects from photos taken on a phone has been a possibility before, Google's Pixel do that afaik.
Removing those and extending footage in a moving scene however? That sounds like something that could be very helpful.

If we make it illegal, it will just be done and denied, as it is extremely difficult to prove, especially if they try to hide it.
It is NOT illegal ay t the moment, as training is not covered by copyright in ANY way, no matter if it is a person or a computer that gets trained.

RUclips isn't splitting hairs on "copy protected" scrapping as they would have to admit - its users - the CREATOR of THE CONTENT... well, they don't want to open up that can of worms, and why they are silent on it.

Like it or not, it's legal to mostly copy material.
Is it Ethical, is it lying to say that it's Ethical in this case???? IDK but its legal. I think its risky for the company because the AI runs the risk of infringing (sometimes it does copy stroke for stroke) and if they're selling copyrighted material, that's on them and they should be fully liable.

I'll settle the "is it legal or illegal to learn from existing art/music/film or not" argument. Did those creators imagine whatever they created from nothing or they learned from others. Should THEY be required to create truly original art that does not borrow from, leverage from, or even seem remotely inspired by other artists?

SORA is not "coming" to Adobe Premier Pro! Adobe Premiere Pro is "allowing" for third party products to integrate in their workflow. That's almost the same, but not really the same :)

Not sure why this matters. Open AI is never going to give the people Sora. That's exclusive for hollywood.
If AI generated content derived from scraped data is copyright infringement, then ANY inspired subsequent work is therefore also copyright infringement. By this logic, if any artist, regardless of medium, cannot prove that their work is 100% original, then they would be guilty of copyright infringement.
Obviously, this is unworkable and asinine. Every artist's work is such; it is inspired from something else.
