Or just a beautiful joint to improve handworking skill. My son is learning the trade, just they do 99% mechanical. I want him to have the real trade skill. As not every household has a cnc machine 😏
I just love watching a master carpenter like this man at work. His skill is incredible, a legacy of many years of making and using these joints. It is truly beautiful to watch him.
For centuries tips and tricks like these were trade secrets not even written down, only handed down from master to apprentice. I'm so thankful that we live in an age of sharing information. Thanks so much for your videos, they're nothing short of artwork.
Just noticed after all this time enjoying your videos that you write left-handed (as I do). I find your work so much easier to follow and they make more sense to me than most of the other woodworking channels.
Beautiful work and not a power tool in site. Festool, Dewalt and Ryobi must hate this craftsman! He could make good money if he came out with his own brand of those very sharp and efficient chisels too.
the other bedframes the joints (like castle joints) are straight, thus easier to be accurate with these angles you would have to have b@lls to be so sure its is not going to wable well done sir :)

I am a carpenter with some decades of experience. And learning a lot every single episode.
Love this.

Love to watch you using furniture size timber rather than construction sizes all the time. Love watching your craftsmanship
Another beautiful joint. Perfect for just about anything from a simple coffee table, a bed frame, a wardrobe, or even framing for a shed or workshop.

Love the natural farm sounds in the background. Hate the noise others use.

Once again you make a joint that most of us don't even think of, and you make it seem "easy". Thanks for sharing your wonderful workmanship. 👍😁🇨🇱🇺🇸
So amazing! Build something for us! A pagoda or shed…
Just love it when someone does something really quite difficult and makes it look so easy, brilliant.
You truly are gifted. What an amazing dovetailed joint into a post.

Hi from Dominican Republic , you are the best
What species wood are you using in this video?
My question too! Seems denser than pine we use in Australia but not too hard either like our hardwoods.
@ 4:28 it looks like poplar to me. Hello from Weaver Alabama U.S.A.

Always impressed by your craftsmanship. Very high quality work. Thanks for sharing. What is the name of the big saw you use? Thank you
I hope you have an apprentice so your skills are passed along for the next generation. It would be criminal to lose this kind of artistry.
