Musically it's not that innovative, it's just that he's playing a lot of keyboard parts (as in things made on probably a MIDI controller into a DAW) on his guitar which can be quite challenging, as well as using a lot of octaves at once. Challenging to play, and fairly innovative in guitar technique, but from a purely musical standpoint it's pretty basic. Still cool af though.

I know A LOT of people give you crap about not being true musicians but goddamn they are the blindest people to see that you are not talented. You are talented as hell. You and LePage you guys are an inspiration to a lot of people who are trying to learn technical guitar I appreciate the hell out of you guys because I am someone who loves groove metal more than anything. But when I hear you guys I hear talent that is beyond my classical metal. I hear beautiful music that is expressed beyond what is known as music nowadays.
