The amount of excitement when you confirmed the BD-2! This was one of my personal favorite overdrive pedals to use back when I used to play. Thank you for this video! It amazes me how much detail the producers put into this anime! The musical nerd in me could sense how organic Bocchi the Rock was!
Frankly, I’ve never seem so much effort on so many details from the people who makes this anime. This should be more acknowledged, and you help a lot by showing this. Thank you very much, and thank you for the subtitles !
After watching Bocchi you are not wrong I really wanted to start learning guitar. I just bought my first guitar and amp yesterday and I hope I can get to this level of playing songs from the anime. Thank you from California !
So how is guitar going for you? I wouldn't worry so much about pedals at first, but rather collect them when you have an idea what you are looking for. Some guitar shops will let you sample common pedals.
I'm a first time viewer of your channel from California, and the English subtitles worked wonderfully. I adore your attitude and energy. Keep up the fantastic videos!
Thank you for the in-depth explanation and EN subs! I had bought a guitar when K-ON! aired, but due to work and studies I had to leave it to the side. Bocchi really motivated me to pick it up again and start learning properly! I also picked up a BD-2 and a RAT based on your Pacifica mod video, and I can't wait to try them once I can actually play Bocchi's songs a bit.
Thanks again for watching my videos! I know you're probably very busy, but please find time to play your guitar! I will be explaining more about sound creation, etc. in future videos, so please watch again.
This was a cool video. Funnily enough Bocchi didn't get me into learning the guitar, but Ryo got me into bass. I'm planning on getting one very soon and learning to play a bunch of songs with it. It's cool to see all the peripherals that can change the sound of the guitar!
I just finished watching the anime series and I'm amazed by how detail it is. I'm about to recreate the guitar tone so I search it, and then this video came up just blown me away. Why do I looked it up on youtube while the scene just tells everything? 😂
If you want a really close sound to bocchi's solo for That Band i would recommend keeping the gain lower than in this video and just the slighest amount of room reverb to sound like its live
I don't know how I found this video, but I love how thorough you did your research and analysis. I haven't seen the anime yet but I probably will watch it! Not just did they use actual gear but also the combination makes sense! Thank you for the video!
I was just watching BTR after having started it over the summer and absolutely loved it, I’ve been playing guitar since I was 10 (currently 24) and also played bass in a band with some friends so having seen this anime after being a big fan of K-On! was definitely a great watch. I’m also a big guitar/gearhead so I was able to recognize a lot of her pedals, especially the BD-2 (solely from the knob layout since I own a few Boss pedals and absolutely love them), the Cry Baby (which was one of my first guitar pedals) and the Rat since those are all absolute classic pedals. Great content, man, just subscribed and keep up the great work, and peace from Canada
This was a really in depth video! I've been playing guitar for many years but just finished watching the first season of Bocchi the other day and was curious about her other gear. Thanks for showing it all! ✌️
Glad you enjoyed my video. If you are interested in guitar, please start. You can easily find a lot of information on RUclips now. At first you may have a hard time improving, but if you keep practicing you will get better and better! If you have any questions about pedals, you can always ask me!
Thanks for clicking on my video that showed up in your recommendations! Glad you enjoyed it! I hope you'll watch any of my videos again in the future if you see a title you like!
I just found this channel because of bocchi and I was so happily surprise with the quality, the effort, in-depth explanation of everything and great english subttitles, i was hooked from the first second and went i watched more videos and enjoyed so much each one!, i subscribed after that! looking forward to enjoy more videos!
Thank you for this!! I am actually building a pedal board like this for an upcoming show at my old University for their annual Japanese Culture Festival as most of the songs I'll be playing call for that Bocchi like sound!
sound awesome, if you record it and post could you comment to me I would really love to see that, getting my first guitar soon so im just getting into this stuff lol.
I loved the last episode so much! So I've made a complete replica of Bocchi's pedalboard! I've included some of the finer details, so please enjoy! Feel free to leave a comment! I'll keep you up to date with all kinds of gear, so I hope you'll subscribe to my channel!
Its honestly really amazing as to how much effort you put into making this video! Ive been looking into how bocchi got her tone, so im really grateful that you made this with english subtitles :DD nice keep up the good work!
Glad to be of service to you. I certainly went through a lot of effort to make this video, but it's paid off because everyone who's watched it has enjoyed it!
Glad to be of service in helping you create your sound! If you'd like to tell me which equipment you and your friends are having trouble making sounds with, I'd love to hear about it! I'm also willing to make videos that can help people outside of Japan.
Watching from Philippines here. My guy you got even the subtle differences of the tones spot on. Now i have an idea how to recreate this tone on bias fx or bluecat. Thanks!
Thank you so much for the English subtitles! I recently started watching Bocchi the Rock and I'm absolutely obsessed with it. I'm slowly learning more about guitar pedals, and you explained all this gear perfectly. Love it!
Bocchi the Rock is a wonderful anime! I agree with you! Glad you enjoyed this video. If you decide to get serious about learning about guitar pedals, I'm sure my other videos will be useful to you, so please watch them when the time comes.
thank you for the english subs!!
it really help the explanation of the effect. im still learning at guitar and this motivates me to train more.
Thanks for watching my video! I'm glad this video helped you in some way!

Frankly, I’ve never seem so much effort on so many details from the people who makes this anime. This should be more acknowledged, and you help a lot by showing this.
Thank you very much, and thank you for the subtitles !
I too feel that the efforts of the animation staff are commendable! Thanks for the nice comments about the video and subtitles!
I agree with this!
After watching Bocchi you are not wrong I really wanted to start learning guitar. I just bought my first guitar and amp yesterday and I hope I can get to this level of playing songs from the anime. Thank you from California !
Thanks for watching from California! I hope you continue to enjoy playing guitar and I look forward to seeing you in the future.
Nice man the anime really got me back into playing again, good luck learning the guitar! It’s a long but fun process 🎸
So how is guitar going for you? I wouldn't worry so much about pedals at first, but rather collect them when you have an idea what you are looking for. Some guitar shops will let you sample common pedals.
Same. Gonna be buying the pac012 instead of 611 since I'm on a budget 😢
I'm a first time viewer of your channel from California, and the English subtitles worked wonderfully.
I adore your attitude and energy. Keep up the fantastic videos!
Thanks for watching my video from California! Glad you enjoyed this video. I hope you'll come back to watch my videos!
it's friday in carifornia, shoot
Thank you for the in-depth explanation and EN subs! I had bought a guitar when K-ON! aired, but due to work and studies I had to leave it to the side. Bocchi really motivated me to pick it up again and start learning properly!

I will be explaining more about sound creation, etc. in future videos, so please watch again.
Thank you for the english subs! As someone who plays guitar and is currently learning Japanese (N4) this is very helpful! ❤
I'm so glad I can be of service to your Japanese studies! I plan to add subtitles in the future, so please watch my videos again.
This was a cool video. Funnily enough Bocchi didn't get me into learning the guitar, but Ryo got me into bass. I'm planning on getting one very soon and learning to play a bunch of songs with it. It's cool to see all the peripherals that can change the sound of the guitar!
It's great that Ryo is the reason you started Bass! There are many great effectors for Bass, so please enjoy your wonderful musical life!
Nice video. Congratulations. Greetings from Ecuador - South America.
I am glad you watched my video from Ecuador!
this channel is literally perfection. There is always subs and his energy is great and motivating
Thank you! I hope I can continue to bring you videos that you guys enjoy!
I just finished watching the anime series and I'm amazed by how detail it is. I'm about to recreate the guitar tone so I search it, and then this video came up just blown me away. Why do I looked it up on youtube while the scene just tells everything? 😂
If you're familiar with the equipment, you'll recognize it right off the bat from the cartoon! Glad I could help you reproduce Bocchi's guitar tone!
If you want a really close sound to bocchi's solo for That Band i would recommend keeping the gain lower than in this video and just the slighest amount of room reverb to sound like its live
This is an incredible walk through the various effects used.
Thank you very much!
Glad you enjoyed this video!
Thank you so much for the English subtitles, I'm starting to lean guitar and I find this kind of videos really interesting and helpful
I don't know how I found this video, but I love how thorough you did your research and analysis. I haven't seen the anime yet but I probably will watch it! Not just did they use actual gear but also the combination makes sense! Thank you for the video!
Thanks for watching this video, even though you haven't seen the cartoon yet! It's a really great anime, and I hope you'll give it a watch!
Thank You so much for adding English subtitles for the International Bocchi fans!
Thank you, too, for coming to watch!
I was just watching BTR after having started it over the summer and absolutely loved it, I’ve been playing guitar since I was 10 (currently 24) and also played bass in a band with some friends so having seen this anime after being a big fan of K-On! was definitely a great watch.
Fantastic job! It's a really simple but useful setup. I didn't realize that level of detail in the series.
great analisyst on how bocchi do her board. thank you for the english subs and for encouraging people to keep playing the guitar.
Glad you enjoyed watching it!
AMAZING! keep adding the eng subs please your videos are really entertaining i loved this one
So glad you all enjoyed it!
This was a really in depth video! I've been playing guitar for many years but just finished watching the first season of Bocchi the other day and was curious about her other gear. Thanks for showing it all! ✌️
I'm glad you enjoyed watching this video!
Honestly I think its a decently simple board aside from the ms-3, kudos to the accuracy of the board though, really nice video
Awesome breakdown of the pedal board and the uses for each effect!
Very practical pedal board!
Thank you! This video was a lot of fun to watch. I want to learn how to play guitar, after watching BOCCHI THE ROCK!, but I am a little scared.

Watching this with the subtitles was amazing, I'm definitely coming back for more tips.

Thank you for the English subs, greetings from Austria.
That was a real informative video. Love it.
I'm so glad you could watch my videos from Australia! Thank you!
I loved the last episode so much! So I've made a complete replica of Bocchi's pedalboard! I've included some of the finer details, so please enjoy!

Viewing from California! I loved the video and demonstration!
Thank you! I am glad you appreciate both video and demonstration!
Thank you for the english subtitles! Excellent presentation! Thank you for your knowledge and insight!
this video come right perfect after i finished watched bocchi. thanks for eng subs
That was very entertaining. Thanks so much for the sub-titles. I started using an Angry Driver pedal, which is blues driver mixed with Angry Charlie.
I'm glad you enjoyed watching this video, Angry Driver is great at creating so many different kinds of sounds!
I'm always learning so much from your ototsukuri videos. Thank you!!!
Glad to be of service in helping you create your sound! If you'd like to tell me which equipment you and your friends are having trouble making sounds with, I'd love to hear about it! I'm also willing to make videos that can help people outside of Japan.
thank you for the subtitles Yujin-san
Thanks for watching too!
Incredible video. Thanks hugely. I’m trying to get my tone in order. After buying some new headphones I realized how messed up it was
Glad to be of service to you! I hope you make your favorite sounds with your new headphones!
Watching from Philippines here. My guy you got even the subtle differences of the tones spot on. Now i have an idea how to recreate this tone on bias fx or bluecat. Thanks!
Thanks for watching from the Philippines! I am very happy if this video has brought some awareness to you.
Thanks for the subtitles! Also nice pun with the zip tie. I want to learn more about sound design. Can't wait!
I'm glad you mention zip tie in your comment! Thanks! I have other videos that explain sound creation, so be sure to watch them!
Glad RUclips brought me here. Nice breakdown of Bocchi's gear!
Glad you enjoyed the video!
THANK YOU SO MUCH! Second pedal board will be this for sure!
Arigato sensei!
Thank you very much !!! I always wondered what gear Bocchi uses. I might go buy myself in the future!!
Thanks for watching my video! Glad I could be of help to you!!
If you decide to get serious about learning about guitar pedals, I'm sure my other videos will be useful to you, so please watch them when the time comes.
great video my guy. very impressive how you put the effects together from just the image.
Glad you enjoyed this video!
Thanks for a great video. Greetings from Brazil!
Thanks for watching from Brazil! I'm glad if this video was enjoyable for you!
5:28 Thanks for the information! I think it's really important lol
The way bro said blues driver makes me need one
I loved this video and the Metal Zone video. I'm hoping for a TORNADO Fx | TORNADO Drive pedal demo next
Thanks for watching my videos! Stay tuned for more!
