  • I know Safari and Firefox can be frustrating for web developers, but I certainly don’t want to live in a world build on and for Google Chrome. So here we are. Did you know you can debug Safari on iOS from your Mac? (And yes, I realize how frustrating it is that debugging is only available for Mac users, though there are third-party online options like crossbrowsertesting.com/ or software to mirror macOS’s features with something like inspect.dev/).

    Hi, Chris. I'm here from your dark/light mode on netninja. Just wanted to say thanks. It was so well done.
    I know it can be difficult when you're starting on YT but keep going. You're such a great teacher and your people will find you in due time.
    Subbed.

    Thank you so much. I was having an API issue on mobile. With this - I could find out that the submit event was faster than the resource submission itself. This tutorial was really helpful.

    I can only open the inspector window, but the simulator of the phone screen is not shown. How can I show that? Thanks!

    How do I see the mobile version on safari inspect? Edit: I found it. It's the enter responsive design mode in the develop menu.

    only for ip and safari mac? Can it be for ip and chrome window?

    • @CodinginPublic

      I think it’s just for safari but since chrome has to use WebKit on iOS (I think), I’m pretty sure it’ll be the same?

    Why is Safari so cumbersome? Why can't I just simply open dev tools on my phone instead?

    • @CodinginPublic
      @CodinginPublic  Год назад

      Not sure. Can you do that on Android? That would be cool! FWIW, a lot of dev servers will spin up a local version you can access on your phone.

      @@CodinginPublic I’m not sure as I have been using an iPhone for a while now, however, I will check this for sure.
      Even if it weren’t the case it’s about time features like these should be made available. I want to be able to quickly check JSON stored variables of a router set-up in my network, now I’m not able to do that without connecting my phone to a desktop again… 🤷‍♂️
