After 16 long weeks, it's finally time for us to move into our lorry conversion!

Obviously not going to give away the location but I regularly drive past the field in which you guys were building Tori The Lorry (my house was in one of your drone shots a few vids back!) and seeing the build progress has been amazing - more so to my daughter who was amazed real-life RUclipsrs were living practically on her front door! Given the floods we've had round here this week, you may well have finished and moved on just in time! May Tori bring you many great adventures!

When DPF regen press the right side to + and ref up for a Regen. its on the steering wheel as cruise control.

Your channel popped up, so I have enjoyed watching your moving in day. I noticed some nice space in between your children in their car seats. I thought it would be really nice for them to have armrests with cup holders in. This should be quite easy for you to install since you have built a beautiful van for your family and yourselves.😊

With the gas tank, if thay are fitted correctly thay will only hold 80% of "water capacity" . Water capacity being total of tank. To adjust is a simple matter of rotating it. A gas fitter could advise on this. It is a whole new book, not another chapter. You will soon get comfortable driving Torrie. Is a big step up from the van. Here is to Happy Touring With The Kids. I am enjoying this so very much. In the US you CANNOT fill your propane by yourself. You must have a certified operator. I drive a 37 foot motorhome so I understand the anxiety. Enjoy with this lovely family.

Great job you guys!! I didn’t think you could in this short time, but you pulled it of! You should be proud!! A little tip: put a sticker on your dash for the hight in meters of the lorry! It’s helps a lot if you approach a low bridge (in Europe) 😅

If you fill your kettle then use a flask to store the excess hot water you don't waste gas keep on boiling the kettle

Truck looks fab, lucky kids. If you use baking paper to line the oven trays it will be way less cleaning. 1st line with alfoil and the baking paper. Hope this helps. Xxx

I was expecting more storage, either overhead or a serviceable pantry, and better refrigerator for a family of 5 seems important as well. Those seem inadequate to me and being a lorry there should have been plenty of room to add more. Your hard work has paid off so far and the children are adorable in their new spaces.
This fridge is a dream 🤩 we've done a whole year with something MUCH smaller. Thanks for watching, we definitely could have added more storage, but we don't really need it to be honest. Plus we have to be mindful of weight.

Little thing i learned a few months ago about pizza, if the doe hasnt rested long enough the yeast will still be working which when eaten will absorb water thus make you thirsty

It is called a DPF regeneration it does it quite often it will come up on your dashboard with a little green sign on the rail counter. It will last for about 30 minutes

Hello there..When trucks regenerate themselves you must make sure your on hard ground because it gets up to a 1000° apparently trying to burn those filters clean..Happy Trucking Peeps..✌️

Bit late with reply but there is a stuff on market for gas connections and looks like paste, very sticky stuff, our gas engineer used it on cooker connections ect. Apparently is lot better then any ptfe style tape ect. Speak to anyone who service boilers/hobs ect. They will be able to advice best stuff to use.

I'm my last one I used to carry a spray bottle with soapy water just to check the lpg system for leaks every now and then better safe than sorry 😊😊

I saw your response to funky frog bait's video. I also saw that video...i cant speak for ffb, but my impression was your van lifestyle is not the same as the vanlifers ffb was referencing. Case in point, you dont disclipine your kids on camera; the parents bedroom v. their kids' space makes them appear to be an accessory rather than considered and a part of the experience.
..the fact you thought about ffb's video tells me you have considered your children's well-being. The juxtaposition of the parents' bedroom w king size bed and the kids' space or lack thereof shows how incredibly selfish their choices have been....i love your channel. Your kids seem incredibly happy and aren't constantly forced to be on camera. Keep enjoying your adventures!!!

Have you thought about using those ring lights for underbed lighting, they come in different sizes and you can dim and change colour, there about £8in amazon and they can be cable tied to the slats under the bed, just an idea????? 😊

The build os wonderful but i would have keepeed the rear door's on fir added insulation ans protection from.the elements . Alot of wind and turbulence will be around the baxk of the lorry on motorway at speed

Fantastic effort guys and time to chill and take some time out. It has been amazing to see it come on so quickly. I have lorry envy btw and my motorhome looks so boring now! Used to drive trucks many moons ago and the daily checks are so important. You can get checklists which truckers have to complete and report defects. Can I ask if you have recovery/breakdown cover now? Fair winds Dave
Thanks Dave, we have loved being able to really make it our own! We do have breakdown cover with our insurance.
