I have followed these instructions exactly, but when I convert the text to a path and ungroup, I am not able to move text individually. It remains as one thing. I then tried "Object" and "release compound path" and that did break them into individual letters and allow me to edit the path points, but when I overlapped letters and tried to use the XOR to combine them, it didnt' work either. I have been struggling with this for hours. Can you help please.
