When I find a big batch of ground beef markdowns sometimes I will cook it up in big batches, drain off the fat, and then run it through the food processor and freeze it. It is such a time saver for soups, chili, tacos, hamburger gravy, casseroles etc. I leave it unseasoned so I can season it with the meal it is needed for. Also if we have leftover tomato juice or salsa, I freeze them in portions of 3/4 cup and I use it instead of water to add to taco seasoning when making tacos. It is really good instead of just water.

I remember watching rescue 911 when it was originally on!! Fun to see them again! That’s so great that you’re such a team!
And....... now I'm tired. haha.. Love watching how the kids get involved in the kitchen. Art is definitely a keeper. I babysat overnight last night, as my son and his wife had a wedding, and I told them to enjoy a night together as it's been a year since they had that time together. The girls are almost 5 and 10. The little one said to me. "G'ma do you know what brain washed is"? She then tells me that's what tv commercials do to you.. LOL !!. Am guessing my son told them that commercials are meant to make people want the things. Got to love what comes out of their little mouths. 💖

Great precooking for camping and the freezer! 12 meatballs for a meal for 8? I must if misunderstood.
i believe it was the whole bag of 47 or 48 meatballs that was feeding 12 people (she said each meal was feeding 12 when they were on vacation)
