Yes occasionaly one drama to make your audience happy is common sense. I think Fawad once said he doesn’t take on too much as he has diabetes and even when doing a film in Bollywood he was unwell, plus he was drowsy while doing an interview, He said doing Maula Jutt was also very taxing on his body to build it up eating and that as we know would affect his diabetes!He is a very talented actor but not everyone has that energy to do much if their health don’t allow it! Humayun and Farhad are lucky in this respect that they are otherwise healthy! Fawad should do a comedy as he is very good at it! he also respect the newer actors and feel they have much to offer!
Ok, on the fawad issue as an indian audience who follows pak drama content from years, here is my 2 cents : fawad when started doing projects in India some 10 yrs back , the indian audience who became fans of him after watching humsafar and zindagi Gulzar hai were really interested in his work but not now, now the likes of fahad mustafa , wahaj ali and farhan saeed who are actually doing good work in their home turf Pakistan became very popular in India too. That's the catch one needs to be strong with his roots and industry and give good content from their industry first to even maintain some stardom in the first place , sadly fawad is still famous bcz of his decades old projects nothing new. When south indian actors are getting pan India level success via their regional films , I don't really understand fawads weird obsession with bollywood. Do good Pakistan content and develop your own industry na, like how your peers like fahad mustafa is doing.

@@sravyach1443 I have watched pakistani dramas and to be franks only explanation of thier numbers in India is that they are better then indian serials(especially hindi serial)because we don't make dramas we make soap opera. Their dramas are working just because of limited episodes and are on RUclips for free otherwise most of the story is the same as the soap opera sometimes even more regressive as cousin marriage is a recurring theme there. They are not making "Breaking Bad" or "Game of thrones" or anything like that. Dramas which are growing among young demographics are k-dramas while pakistani dramas are more popular among the same people who watch indian soap operas. Now compare their dramas with our web series let's take an example of recent ones "farzi", " Mirzapur " and "Freedom at midnight" now you will see a huge difference both in technology, acting and direction. And yes pakistani actors are not very popular in India because most of the people who watch their dramas(mostly older women) don't bother to know about actors and actresses.

Yes..Even I felt Sajal is phenomenal and she has no comparison with anyone..Sajal is Sajal..When she is on screen,my glance doesn't go on anyone else..Her performance in Alif and YKS made me tear up everytime she cried..Sajal is an assert and there is no one who can replace her..Forever!
I agree, Seher is surely talented and a good actor but she still needs to go a long way to come to sajal's level. Sajal has always been a scene stealer and her performances are not only great but very nuanced and this is the reason she is amongst the few very best that we have in our industry.

Tan Man Neel o Neel; was written for Sajal, she was a part of it till early this month. We can see the costumes and styling was crafted for Sajal and I'm glad Sehar pulled it off so well. What Hassan said about Sehar and Sajal being at par, I don't agree with. Yes, Sehar is a great actor, but she has long way to go but looks wise they do look similar. Sajal has signed a Ramzan rom com named Dil Wali Gali with Hamza Sohail, fans met them on the set which confirmed that the shooting has started.

Ridhi Dogra is a good actress and has done OTT work. Her film Sabarmati express is doing well at cinemas in India. She must be between promotions of the film when this interview happened probably . Fair enough if she is being cautious given the strained relations btw the two nations. Also no offence Fawad must be a big name in Pakistan but here in india at the moment people only know Hania Aamir 😊 People (females) my age above 40 and those in late 30’s know him from Zindagi Gulzar hai. But the current gen know nothing about him. Also back then the films he did were not super hits but he was loved for his drama though . I believe there is no harm if he is trying to act outside Pakistan , if that satisfies creative side of his personality and probably he is being paid more in international projects .

She has done many good web series and had been part of many blockbuster movies like jawan(it was a small role but still) ,tiger 3 , Sabarmati report etc. And now she is part of film abir gulal. When interviewer asked her about film and Mr.Fawaad khan she answered it like that because she didn't wanted to spread anything wrong or give any hints about movie she wanted to keep it silent and it's her choice. Just because fawad khan is superstar of Pakistan and she is a tv actres of Indian and not that famous u can't compare them. And it's here right to check whether she can work with the actor from another country and that's totally her choice.

Pakistani dramas are of much higher standard than cheap B grade Bollywood movies. It is just that Fawad Khan goes for anything that is associated with India while not doing a Pak drama for pak channels. This is making him lose respect and love of his own people. He should have realised this from the feedback of Barzakh.

@ @ The first saas bahu drama was humsunlar that made waves throughout the world . Though these have become outdated now, still Nur Jahan and KMKT took India by storm which had a strong character of the saas. Many on going dramas are of different genres with strong story lines and messaging. In contrast, bollywood movies have cheap nudity, profanity, and weak stroylines. There are Cringe. I happened to watch a couple on Netflix like Do Patti, khel khel mae and Savi, and they were soooooo bad, absolute garbage. They try gain viewership through vulgarity and add LGBT filth to look modern. Kawa chal hans ki chal apni bhi bhool gya. 😂

I think Fawad once said he doesn’t take on too much as he has diabetes and even when doing a film in Bollywood he was unwell, plus he was drowsy while doing an interview, He said doing Maula Jutt was also very taxing on his body to build it up eating and that as we know would affect his diabetes!He is a very talented actor but not everyone has that energy to do much if their health don’t allow it! Humayun and Farhad are lucky in this respect that they are otherwise healthy! Fawad should do a comedy as he is very good at it! he also respect the newer actors and feel they have much to offer!

Ok, on the fawad issue as an indian audience who follows pak drama content from years, here is my 2 cents : fawad when started doing projects in India some 10 yrs back , the indian audience who became fans of him after watching humsafar and zindagi Gulzar hai were really interested in his work but not now, now the likes of fahad mustafa , wahaj ali and farhan saeed who are actually doing good work in their home turf Pakistan became very popular in India too. That's the catch one needs to be strong with his roots and industry and give good content from their industry first to even maintain some stardom in the first place , sadly fawad is still famous bcz of his decades old projects nothing new. When south indian actors are getting pan India level success via their regional films , I don't really understand fawads weird obsession with bollywood. Do good Pakistan content and develop your own industry na, like how your peers like fahad mustafa is doing.

Their dramas are working just because of limited episodes and are on RUclips for free otherwise most of the story is the same as the soap opera sometimes even more regressive as cousin marriage is a recurring theme there. They are not making "Breaking Bad" or "Game of thrones" or anything like that. Dramas which are growing among young demographics are k-dramas while pakistani dramas are more popular among the same people who watch indian soap operas. Now compare their dramas with our web series let's take an example of recent ones "farzi", " Mirzapur " and "Freedom at midnight" now you will see a huge difference both in technology, acting and direction. And yes pakistani actors are not very popular in India because most of the people who watch their dramas(mostly older women) don't bother to know about actors and actresses.

The young demographic is more tilted towards k-dramas pakistani dramas are popular among those people who used to watch indian soap operas. And if you think they are by intention making dramas you haven't watched their movies they have only 90 screens in all of the country nobody watches thirs films that is why they are focussing only on dramas. The day india started making limited episode dramas you will see large shifts in their online watching.

What Hassan said about Sehar and Sajal being at par, I don't agree with. Yes, Sehar is a great actor, but she has long way to go but looks wise they do look similar. Sajal has signed a Ramzan rom com named Dil Wali Gali with Hamza Sohail, fans met them on the set which confirmed that the shooting has started.

Sachi baat ye hai ke zyada tar Pakistani actors waqai marey jaa rahe hain Bollywood movies mein kaam karne ke liye... I expect them to behave like how a celebrity should behave but whenever they meet any Bollywood celebrity, they act like their fans rather than a celebrity representing Pakistan..
Ridhi dogra is a well established tv actress of India. She has done many good web series and had been part of many blockbuster movies like jawan(it was a small role but still) ,tiger 3 , Sabarmati report etc. And now she is part of film abir gulal. When interviewer asked her about film and Mr.Fawaad khan she answered it like that because she didn't wanted to spread anything wrong or give any hints about movie she wanted to keep it silent and it's her choice. Just because fawad khan is superstar of Pakistan and she is a tv actres of Indian and not that famous u can't compare them. And it's here right to check whether she can work with the actor from another country and that's totally her choice.
Farhat Ishtiaq, herself said in an interview that Meem se Mohabbat would be her first rom com.

Pakistani dramas are of much higher standard than cheap B grade Bollywood movies. It is just that Fawad Khan goes for anything that is associated with India while not doing a Pak drama for pak channels. This is making him lose respect and love of his own people. He should have realised this from the feedback of Barzakh.
Pakistani dramas might be better than Indian serials but no Pakistani dramas filled with saas bahu cheap wars,dusri biwi mess and heroines getting thappads is in no way better than bollywood movies,I mean that might be ur taste but the whole world wouldn't normally want to see that
@ @ The first saas bahu drama was humsunlar that made waves throughout the world . Though these have become outdated now, still Nur Jahan and KMKT took India by storm which had a strong character of the saas. Many on going dramas are of different genres with strong story lines and messaging.
In contrast, bollywood movies have cheap nudity, profanity, and weak stroylines. There are Cringe. I happened to watch a couple on Netflix like Do Patti, khel khel mae and Savi, and they were soooooo bad, absolute garbage. They try gain viewership through vulgarity and add LGBT filth to look modern. Kawa chal hans ki chal apni bhi bhool gya. 😂

Fawad has a huge fan following in India. You should ignore ridhi Dogra's comments because she is like a nobody......please see how big stars like sharukh, karan johar, diljit and badhas are treating their Pakistani counterparts. there's always some negative comments whenever countries try to unite on any front wheather art or culture. it would help if you considered that to open up new horizons for Pakistani talent someone has to clear the path. Fawad is doing that in circumstances where India and Pakistan are not looking eye to eye and politicians are making it more difficult.

It's a request, Firdous Jamal, I seriously feel, has mental health issues. He has been saying things that don't make sense. His children are also annoyed and he is at age where he can't change. It's getting worse. People have been doing podcasts to gain views. In the recent podcast, the host was constantly trying to take content out of him by asking personal questions. His interviews shouldn't be given attention. He needs help.
