"In the wasteland, there was a strange construction, a weird reminder of times long past. The metal sphere, buzzing and shining its lights, still seem to faithfully perform its task, even though no one alive could tell what task they could be. But sometimes its behavior would change, and become even stranger. So, anyone near it would clearly hear incomprehensible human voices. A recording of dead people, speaking in a dead language. The meaning of its message lost forever."
