I was born in 83, and I remember Danny from T2, and Salute Your Shorts .
Jason, It's always a pleasure waisting time with yourself and the many guest that appears on this show. Thank you for wasting time with us! This interview was so awesome in many ways from Pop culture to the Underrated Bad4Good album. To myself, even in today's culture that was an Underrated album from start to finish verses some other bands of the same time frame.
Thank you! I’m glad you get it, I hope to do more pop culture interviews like this one
Jason, please do because it's not wasting time, it's time well spent with awesome people like yourself. Thank you for all that you do .@@WasteSomeTimewithJasonGreen
BAD 4 GOOD!
Yessss!
I got the CD still & love it
I am the exact same age as Danny and I couldn't imagine being on the set of Dukes of Hazzard in 1983 at age 8. I DO remember his voice being obviously dubbed in on that episode as well, so it's cool to hear the story behind that. I loved the Bad4Good CD as well and it holds up well even today. Love your channel Jason, the Pearcy road diaries and all. Great work.
Danny seems like a well grounded decent human being - glad to see he’s healthy and happy!! ⚡️⚡️
One of the nicest guys I've met 👊
He’s very cool
Loved watching Different Strokes when I was a kid. Loved hearing his stories. Thanks for sharing this with us all. Great interview.
Just watched the Danny Cooksey video. Great video !
Brooks Wackerman and Thomas Mcrocklin on bad fer good were awesome back in the day! Wackerman has done some great things over the years, respects to him 🤙
This guy is awesome nice is a understatement. Glad to see he is doing well. So many memories of him. Good job as always Jason.👏🏼🤘🏼✌🏼
I love Bad 4 Good! I’ll still pull that CD out on occasion today. It’s filled with great songs and incredible playing. I didn’t realize Nineteen was a cover until years later. I remember the video being really fun, I wanted to hang out with them so bad lol.
Was very intrigued by this interview. I figured it was 50/50 on being a train wreck or just sucking. BUT what a great guest and totally cool discussion. It's refreshing to see a childhood star that lives up to the expectations and seems overall like a nice guy! Well done!
Great interview- seems like a very down to earth guy
Glad you liked it, he was very cool!
Another great one! So much from my childhood/early adulthood I wasn't even aware of. Really awesome.
I’m glad you liked it Jason! Hoping to have more cool guests like this on soon
I went and checked out his band was great! He was a fine vocalist! Great interview 👏👏👏👏
Thank you and I’m glad you enjoyed his band!
Hey jason, your interviews are great. A chat with Mark Paul Gussellaar from Saved by the bell would be real cool
Great interview. A real fun guest.
Thank you !
Loved this interview. You can hear the album on RUclips. Curious intentions is the shit. He was also in a cool episode of werewolf. Good one Mr. G
I still have my original Bad 4 Good cd. I still like it. I watched Salute My Shorts after I discovered B4G. Nice interview.
That’s awesome, I’m jealous! Glad you enjoyed the interview
Awesome interview!
Thanks, glad you liked it
Slow and beautiful to this day is still one of my favorite songs!! Thank you DC 💙✌🏼✊🏼🤘🏼
Interesting personal side story. I actually knew a guy who had auditioned for his role in Terminator 2. But the part went to Danny. I wasn't expecting to tell me THAT when sharing life stories
I saw Bad4Good play the Rip magazine party at the Hollywood Palladium 1992. Bon Jovi, Warrant, Jackyl, Tora Tora, Kik Tracie, Bad4Good, and Skew Siskin. Bad4Good were great!!! It’s too bad they didn’t last that long. The guitar playing left they changed their name to Lucy’s Milk. They played clubs for a while and broke up.
Who was the guitarist for Lucy’s Milk?
Wow Skew Siskin, thought I was the only one who ever heard of them 😂
Well how 'bout that....what a life huh. Never realized that he did DS, T2 AND BFG. I'm literally shaking my head lol. Cool show my man thanks.
I’m glad you enjoyed it and yes definitely a crazy career he had
LOVE Bad4Good and Shelter Dogs! Funny, my best friend’s name is Sean Clark too.
I loved Salute Your Shorts!
It was huge with 90’s kids!
Great interview!
Thank you!
Always saw him in so much stuff and then nothing it seems. Always loved his roles. And howdy from Huntsville, Alabama.
I saw Bad 4 Good open for Joe Satriani on November 11th, 1992 Steve Vai was there too.
Danny was born in the same town Dana Plato passed away in. 😢
I remember Bad4Good getting a lot of press back in the day. By 1992, I was just burnt out of that hair metal scene. There were too many bands and they started to all sound the same by 1989/90. I couldn’t face another Bang Tango (who I liked), Bang Gang, Crystal Pistol, Young Guns, Sleeze Beez or Southgang. Bad4Good had some insane talent, though. I’m guessing Brooks Wackerman knew Vai through his brother, Chad. I saw the Frank Zappa tour with Vai and Chad Wackerman back in ‘82. Danny had some incredible pipes. His vocal performance on the Thin Lizzy cover is fantastic. Unfortunately, they were way too late to the game.
Enjoy your interviews Jason. Not sure if you are aware but there is always an annoying delay. The audio of your guests repeats and drives me crazy when I listen with headphones. The Maddi one was especially bad. Just letting you know.
Ya, audio gets unbearable even w/o headphones..Delay makes guest start to answer before questions is completely asked.
What a cool guy!
Great guest Jason.
Danny had some pipes on that Bad 4 Good record with Thomas Mckrollin
Just such a cool down to earth dude
Absolutely
Wonder if Willis ever shared his stash with him.
Oh cool. I loved Bad 4 Good, just sadly music changed during that time. The entire band was incredible. Love seeing that Brooks worked his way up to a big touring band Avenged Sevenfold and Thomas' youtube video's are some of the best guitar video's on youtube and his solo and McRocklin/Hutch stuff is great.
Thanks jason. God bless all the ratt n rollers. Jesus saves sinners
Master Bates
OK not saying he is a bad actor. but the CHARACTER of sam in DIFFERENT STROKES ended up being so annoying most viewers did NOT want him to come back on those episodes where he got kidnapped. the writers should have toned him down. some say he ruined the show. I would not say that . actually the mother was worse and having 2 different actresses playing the part that ruined it. still is a great show BUT there is a big differance between the older episodes and the last few years. and yes I can still watch the later episodes and put up with sam. (only just)
Best line from the Mr Hortons Bike Shop episode: 'Hey guys, you know what goes great with pizza? Wine!'
