This brings my heart at peace. Subhanallah I have some difficulties which have been going on for some years and somedays are just so hard to make myself understand what will be the outcome of everything. The one which keeps me sane is Allah Subahana wa taa'la. My comforts come from our prophet Muhammad (PBUH). My heart is at peace with Qur'an. Jazakallah khairun for these videos!
I needed to hear this advice. My son passed away 2 years ago and I've been beating myself over regrets of could've and should've. I believe that Allah took him because he didn't want him suffering any longer and maybe to remind me to be closer to Him (Allah). So the advise of stop beating yourself about the past , learn from it and move on is good advice.
I needed this so much and subhanallah the timing couldn’t have been better. May Allah help us to overcome this and give us peace of mind. Jazakallah khair!
one of the most hurtful of this kind of blaming yurself ..is when something happends to yur closed loved ones especially parents and siblings.. i felt like i could do much better so that my father would be still alive ..it took me 7 months to get my mind straight and i had all these whispers in my mind but i never vented it out ... i held my self saying its the decree of allah ..and alhamdulillah i onli came closer n closer to allah ever since ..only the words of allah and our blessed rasul allahu alaihivassallam gave me inner peace..i really miss my father he was everything to me ..but on the other hand i know allah has onli helped me to realise that he wants to unite us together in paradise insha Allah 💐 i hope everyone of us face different and similar hardship in life..may all those hardship and pain help us to better ourselves and let us reach jannathul firdous with ease ❤ aameen
I can’t imagine losing my dad. But reading this makes me cry because if I was in your position then I would have not know what to do. I can’t imagine losing my parents.
Thank you for this comforting message my brother. It seems like this message was put on your heart for me. It really describes how I have been feeling since the past month, due to all that's happened to me in this life. It's been such a difficult life that I fail to understand why. This has given me much strength. THANK YOU. May you continue to be blessed with wisdom.
All ur lectures r good but today's is comforting and encouraging. It gives me a boost for both ibada and worldly affairs. May Allah reward yaqeen team and grant u khair in both worlds.
Allah-o-Akbar! 😅 The narration about the conversation between Adam A.S and Musa A.S actually gave me goosebumps (the kind of excitement and goosebumps you get reading a scene in a novel). It did help me with my regret (my divorce was decreed and I need to ask forgiveness and have sincere repentance on the shortcomings I feel I had) and the kind of regret that Ayesha R.A could have had, also helped. Thank you. Alhamdulillah ❤❤❤
My brother thank u I have been in a dark place beating myself over things but u have opened my eyes I won’t be thinking abt yesterday but abt tomorrow thank u may have the highest rank in janna
Alhamdulilah I came across this khutbah, I needed to hear this reminder SO much, you have explained so beautifully Ma Sha Allah. The last two years have been very difficult, now my heart and mind is in complete peace with the decree of Allah, Jazāk Allāhu Khayran.

Very useful video Sheikh thank you . My sister humiliated me Infront a group of people by criticising my life why I was still living at home and why I wasn't married. This was really hurtful for me and although that was some time ago , it still hurts today. I will not forget her words for a long time. What I have taken away from this video is that their was some khair in that humiliation and the reward is with Allah.

This video came at the perfect time for me Subhaan’Allah, I am at quite a low point in my life at the moment and really needed to hear this!! A question for Sheikh Omar - what would be the best way to mitigate feelings of uncertainty after having made a decision? Prior to making it I was certain it was the right one and felt confident after making istikharah and seeking the advice of my parents. However, months later I am asking myself “what if..”. I do trust in Allah SWT’s Hikmah, but then a part of me wonders if maybe this feeling of uncertainty comes from Him as a sign that perhaps it wasn’t the right decision? Perhaps I am overthinking this, but any advice would be really appreciated, Jazaak’Allah khayr!
This is a year later so I’m sure whatever it was, you may have seen the result of that. My advice for anyone in this situation would be to keep making dua for Allah’s guidance and go for what you think is right even if there is a negative feeling, as long as it doesn’t contradict any law of Allah. If the other option is easier for you and more beneficial and doesn’t also contradict the laws of Allah and you are more at ease with it, then you should take that route. Time has a way of showing us the nature and result of our decisions. May Allah aid us all, amin.
